PMed you on some good MYO info....

Kent, I just read through your message and this looks like some really solid stuff to get me moving along. Thanks much dude. I will probably be getting in touch with you once I do some research through the links you set. Much appreciated!

I actually just folded and took my break from work, shot over to 24hr cvs, bought a $3 pouch of TOP rolling tobacco, went home, grabbed my zig zag hand roller, and now im back at work with two rolled cigs... but no filters :/

I'll be spending the better part of my morning reading through the links you sent me. I plan on placing a small order before the end of the week... Will let you know how it goes.

One last thing I wanted to say. I love vaping. I love the flavors, the cool refreshing feel of sweet nicotine rushing through my body. The whole feeling of cleanliness, and the ease of use. I can vape anywhere.. except for my desk at work, they still make me go outside to vape.

I just crave variety in everything that I do. I am interested in trying as many different ways as I can intake nicotine in a fun an enjoyable way, regardless of their health or any other effects that may have on my life.

I just want to enjoy myself, and at the end of the day, I know that I'll be vaping way more than I smoke for the next couple of years at least. I encourage all of you to do whatever it is that makes you happy and keeps you healthy so that you can continue to be happy.

The important thing to me wasn't completely quitting smoking, it was proving to myself that I could put down cigarettes whenever I wanted, and to know that I was never going to be a permanent victim to addiction. I've reached my goals with the help of vaporizers, and now its time to be naughty again and smoke some damn tobacco!

I like you trog, I don't always understand your sentiment, but you're a cool dude. I exchanged a couple emails with you some weeks back inquiring about a Screwdriver Ultimate kit.

I'll probably end up buying one for myself for christmas. Heard too many good things about it. It's devices like yours that keep my interest at its peak with e-cigs. Im hoping to see the decisive conclusion to who holds the crown for the best at home e-cig. I think the race is between the SD, GG, and Prodigy. I could be mistaken.

Your paypal email is in my list of addresses to send money to.

I rolled my own cigs for a long time and its def. a real money saver. I ordered from pipesandcigars . com and got really fast shipping, cheapest tobacco prices I could find, and tubes. I suggest you grab the premier excel cig machine, premier tubes, and as far as tobacco to use, I've had good experience with peoples true taste and checkers tobacco. GL

I hate smoking outside in the winter, too, but whatever floats your boat. I did the RYO thing before starting vaping. I found a Top-o-matic injector to be a good machine. Top or Premier are both good tubes, and seemed to work well with my machine. I could crank out a pack in less than 5 minutes. I used to buy Complete Tobacco, or Gambler. American Bison is also a good natural brand. It's not exactly a Nat Sherman, but it's less expensive than American Spirit, and similar.

For a good supplier, check out Lil' Brown Smoke Shack. Tribal Smoke Shop In Yakima, WA > Home

Best of luck to you. I'm gonna stick with vaping, but I have to admit, I liked stuffing my own when I smoked cigs.

Actually RYO was part of what got me into vap'n.

I was really P.Oed. about the constant rise in the $$ for cigarettes, so went to RYO. Then Obama passed the new tax laws and the taxes on RYO tobacco went up... what was it, 300% or 400%? Just unbeilevably astronomically industrial strength stupid!!!!!
So I went to RYO pipe tobacco. No tax increase on the pipe tobacco. And the only real difference is the manner in which the tabacco is cut. But cigarette tobacco taxes through the stratosphere and pipe tobacco nothing!!!!! Insane just insane!

So, I concur with most of the others in that I now find vap'n a much more satisfying experience over analogs, RYO tobacco or smoking tobacco pipes (which I loved - loved - loved).

But if this is what waxes your skies (did you like the snow analogy?!?!?!?) I'd recommend the Tender Box either on-line or finding a franchise location near you. Their 'Sunset' product pipe tobacco is perfect for RYO.

interesting that about the "at home e cig" but one of the reasons for the SD coming into being was a "not at home e cig".. at home near a charger normal ones where okay for us.. it was going away from the charger the major problems hit us.. like having to carry a pocket full of batteries.. and a packet of rolling tobacco as a real back up.. he he..

so the SD wasnt made as an "at home e cig".. just the opposite... its prime purpose was an "away from home" e cig..

but there is no "best" between an SD, GG, and Prodigy.. they should all do the job they are intended to.. the only real claim to fame the SD has is it was the thing that set the ball rolling.. it was the first of its kind.. it has been around now for quite some time..

i still smoke (and enjoy) the odd roll up.. perhaps just for old times sake.. dunno..

the guys who now make them in our little factory are both e cig and real smokers.. they use both.. and amongst all the screwdriver parts is a tin of rolling tobacco belonging to one of em... which is where i sneak one from every so often... he he he

real tobacco was making me cough like sh-t tho.. i had to get off it.. the odd one i can now enjoy.. heavy daily use was l killing me tho... literally..

Good point, trog on the biggest need for more battery power was being able to be out with out carring 5 or 6 batteries. But there seems to be an influx of people on this forum who are much more concerned with "appearance" over performance.

its always been this way wv2win.. the chinese knew the western market wanted small cigarette look a like devices..

the pen style or classic was small compared to the earlier cigar sized e cig.. then came the 901 or mini.. then came the super mini smaller still.. the game was smaller and more cigarette like with each new one..

at least the "make each new one smaller with smaller carts" trend has stopped..

a 510 is a just a super mini with a decent sized cart..

pen style cart size 1 ml... mini (901) cart size .5 ml and smaller battery... super mini cart size .25 ml..

at least with the 510 things have stopped getting smaller a 510 with TWs mega battery is going (nearly) back to pen style size..

trog

ps.. a simple fact.. a 150 mah battery is not big enough to power properly an atomizer that draws nearly 1 amp of current each time its puffed on.. when new it has a true run time of less than 8 minutes.. 8 minutes aint good for many puffs... fact simple as that.. why folks dont know this is the mystery.. its well a kept secret... he he he

Do you work for R.J. Reynolds, or Phillip Morris??

RJ Reynolds has only 2 (crappy) brands of RYO and Phillip Morris has none. They were among the top lobbying groups to raise the tax on RYO tobacco for the SCHIPS program. They wish RYO would go away. He may work for Top, Gambler, or McClintock but not likely RJR or Phillip Morris.

If you want to insult get your facts straight first. It's more effective that way.

I'd say the 510 is more of a mini than a super mini, but I'm splitting hairs now.

i am just using the line of arrival.. mini.. super mini.. 510.. a 510 could be a super mini turned back into the mini... he he he..

the main thing being the trend for making each new one smaller has stopped.. which has to be good thing from a functionality point of view..
