Hey everyone, so with Summer right around the corner I was wondering how vaping worked in the summer time. Is it exactly safe to leave a mod outside in a bag for a few hours if you're going to a pool or somethin to take with you? Surely keeping your mod in a hot car for the entire day can't be good but does a few hours really hurt anything or damage the batteries to where they could end up possibly venting? I am aware of the tank issue of how it'll thin out juices and make things leak but I'm not a tank user and would make sure most of the juice out of my rda is vape so I don't have such issues. Let me know, it's starting to get gorgeous out and I still want to make sure everything's safe while Im staying healthy. Vape on!

Extreme heat will affect your vape in a wide variety of ways. If you are using a dripper then the "Vape" part won't change much, but it will change, especially tank type units. Hot air from outside mixing with the hot stuff in your atomizer will give you some interesting results.

The rest will heat up significantly. You hardware will get hot. When that happens to me, I just bring it back inside to cool off in the A/C and all goes back to normal. Living in Vegas, the summers play a lot of unpleasant games with my set-up.

I live in Andalusia Southern Spain for half of the year - so far South that from our terrace on a clear day you can see Africa; summer temps run in around 140 F with night times around 86 F - I keep juices in the fridge apart from the ready use 10ml I carry with me. I just take sensible precautions - I carry my device be it a tank mod, a dripper or a squonker plus spare bottle of juice in a leather spectacle case in my pocket when its not in use, never leave it sitting out in direct sunlight and tend to use it mainly in the shade - and so far do good...

I'd not leave batteries in a car unless you have an insulated bag or somesuch, because a car can reach over 100f inside on an average summer day here.

Summertime, springtime, winter, fall , all the same to me . Don't throw mod against wall or repeatedly drop on concrete and your good to go.

Just me I suppose, but I don't leave wife, kids, pets or vape stuff in a closed up car in direct sunshine. It ain't good for any of um.:)

Sums it up.

Well, I'll probably be the next one to have his mod explode in his car. For the past three years, I've kept a mod and spare batteries in the car year round with no ill effects (other than knowing the hot cold cycles will have a long term effect of shortening the battery lifespan). Yeah I used to carry around a vape cooler in the car but that was just a hassle so I ditched it. But that's just me, I like to live on the razor's edge.
