Just a heads up on what my plans are right now:
1) Decide between the 510(Joye 510 NO BOX from cignot) or KR8 (Vapor King Mini PCC kit or Vapor King Shorty Mini PCC kit from vapor4life)
2) If 510, what to do regarding the switch of cartridge. If KR8, which kit to get
3) Decide if I want to do juice or just cartomizer, if juice then towards 510, if cartomizer then towards KR8

So far, I'm more inclinded to the KR8 thought since it sounds so much easier to use and the price isn't that much compared to the 510 with more option regarding choice of carts.

well the offer stands. i have a number of 510s, some 3.7 and 5v mods. not as many as usual cause i have about 4 out on loan.
also, there's a guy in whittier who keeps pretty well stocked on 510s, juice and whatnot.
the mall kiosks are gonna be expensive, so beware.
Well thanks, that would be great if I can but I have no idea how to... what's 3.7 and 5v mods? I haven't read much about modding since I'm still troubled with finding the right one. I live really close to whittier actually and can get there by bus if I want, where's the place? Thanks btw

Dont do the GreenSmoke. I did, and its a very overpriced ripoff. For the same money you can get a ton of great 510 gear and be in heaven. If you want a cartomizer PV, which the GS is, go kr808d-1. I don't use one, because the 510 system is rocking my world quite well right now, but many really love them.

For the money, a 510 starter kit from cignot, and I recommend an extra atty and batt, a PCC, and a USB passthrough, and you will be set for a while. Oh, and get some juices too. A range of nic strength prefilled carts, which are not great in the long run at all, but give you an idea of what nic level you like.

Welcome, and good luck!!

i'm in la palma, be glad to help you out. the 3.7 and 5 refer to the volts used, makes a different experience. if i remember, the stock batteries are around 3volts.
the whittier guy is also on this forum, trainwreck is his username.

You know I might actually take you up on your offer, if it's not too weird for you. But what's the diff with 3.7 and 5 v tho?

Thanks for the advice, I've long had GreenSmoke out of my head since the price has been way too much for me to handle since I brought the headphones from dr. dre. But yea, KR8 sounds like a great choice so far for me with no nic and easy switch. Where as the 510 seems to be more popular and better performance? Well, still gotta look around more but thanks for the advice. Just a curious question, how long does it usually take for you to replace juices?

I've had a 510 for 2 days now and I'd have to say I have been quite satisfied. cignot.com has been great to order from. Whatever you do, I would make sure to order plenty of liquid to refill your carts, buy a couple kits so you have spare attys and batts...

once you get whatever you choose to vape with, I would try a cart mod... I did the lipton pyramid tea bag mod.. you can search it on youtube and find out how to do it.

If you do go with the 510 a couple kits is not only good for the extra batts and attys, but two chargers is good.. my extra kit should be in tommorow as well as my PCC which I am looking forward to. Having only 3 batts and one charger for me and my girlfriend is not working out too great, lol.

A couple more things to keep in mind when making your decision are:

1. You can use juice and/or cartomizers with a Kr8. Buy the prefilled carts OR buy blank cartos (they have them at V4L) and fill them yourself with your own juice. You can also refill your used cartos. There are a couple of ways to fill/refill cartos, one way to fill/refill is the excellent CCFM. Keep in mind the kits from V4L also come with everything you will need such as cases, extra batteries, chargers, passthrough and PCC.

2. Not all the 510 kits come with all the extras that the Kr8 kits come with so you can quickly add to your additional upfront cost when adding those accessories. I have found that the 510s can be leaky at times especially if you put a drop or two too much juice (no leaky probs with Kr8 cartos). Also fresh (unused) 510 atomizers can have a horrible taste (usually from primer fluid) that must be cleaned out before you can truly enjoy the flavor of your juice. No yucky cart taste with the Kr8.

I recommend the Mini PCC kit over the Mini Shorty PCC kit because the shorter the battery the shorter the time between charges. You can always pick up a shorty battery or an XL battery later as all the batteries and cartos are interchangeable. The only thing is the XL batteries won't fit in the regular size cases/PCCs.

Finally, if you can get to Huntington Beach and are interested in seeing BOTH a 510 and a Kr8 to try and to compare side by side just PM me and I'll give you the particulars or will try to answer any other questions you might have.
