Supermini / Mini Differences?

Hi Everyone,

New to the forum so if this has been answered many times before I apologise in advance!

From what i can gather from here in the UK Smokesters site seems like one of the best places to buy from. I am looking at getting either supermini or the mini, mainly for cosmetic reasons. I know the mini is slightly bigger, but as a light smoker (5-10 per day - am looking to replace this totally with e-cigs) I just wondered whether the difference in battery life between the two is very noticeable? Does anyone have experiences of both of these that could shed any light please? The heaviest use it will get will be on nights out to be fair...just want to know if the supermini could stand up to the challenge!

Thanks

Dan

Hi hindley

Mr Darcy's the guy to comment on UK-supplied Mini's, but the Supermini should be OK for a night down the pub, if you don't mind changing the cart (don't know how much you smoke, Dan, but my use goes through the roof with a pint alongside). If you don't want to futz around, you could try what I did. I bought two Supermini's and two spare atomisers. This meant, with the spare battery supplied with each kit, I could assemble four complete e-cigs. The box the cig comes in fits all four neatly so it's like carrying a pack of real cigs around and it fits in a pocket well. That definitely lasts a night out.

I looked at the super mini at first as well but decided to go for the mini (DSE901) primarily because of the larger sized carts and the longer battery life between charges.

Another factor was Rat's review of the DSE901 he got from Meltrex ... great billowing clouds of vapour !

I will probably still end up buying a super mini as well though to add to my collection ... michael loves toys ;) !

Most of us started out thinking that way, too. Actually, I think you'll find yourself moving to one of the less cigarette looking ones in time.

Not only do the super-minis have much shorter battery and cartridge lives, they tend to produce less vapor, and they are too easily mistaken for a real cigarette causing conflict with the anti-smokers.

I still love my super-mini and it's going strong, I just use more cartridges than I would if I had a mini. Having two charged batteries has always been enough for all day and night for me, and it's pretty much the same size as a superking cigarette.

I use about 2 cartridges a day (I'm not a heavy smoker) or 3 if I'm really caning it.

I will probably invest in a mini or classic e-cig at some point though just to see what I'm missing! :)
