I will be leaving here soon and was wondering if there are any people out there have dealt with this in the past. I am in the Navy so the internet is super slow. I was planning on stocking up on attys and batteries and was thinking of picking up a pass through. The one concern I have is getting liquid while at sea. I go through about 3-4 510 carts a day.

Does anyone have any experience with this before?

Also, if we get to go to Hong Kong will they have supplies there
?

When you get on your ship or are deployed send me an email at jturse@Verizon.net and I will gladly ship you a couple bottles for serving our country. It is the least I can do as a repayment for your service. You just have to check the policy of the ship to make sure you can get liquid.

valuevapor.com offers military discounts on top of very low prices, you might check with them for shipping. Scroll down their home page and you will see reference to it. It does say they can't send liquid out of US, I am not sure if this applies to APO/MPO, though.
It says to set up an account using your .mil email.

Homeish now
Shipping to the ship shouldnt be a problem......it just might be very SLOW
Your going to want to order well in advance.

If you havnt done a cruise before, Mail call is totally dependent upon two things.
Unreps with other Ships and coming into ports. Way deployed AP addresses work is all west coast APO address are sent some where in SD, which are then sorted into crates..which are stuck on any ship head in the general direction of the destination ship...it's past from ship to ship, sometimes left at a port for another ship to pick up...until it reaches the right ship.
Sometimes this takes two weeks..sometimes it takes like a month and half.

What I'd do..is Bulk on everything NOW. We arn't talking huge stuff anyway it will easily fit in your coffin. keep in mind You do have the seabag locker, could stick extra extras down there. Have at least 4 month supply in about two months in order more...yes internet is slow but it does work to order stuff online I've done it plenty of times.
There is also opportunities at lib ports to get better internet access..what else ya going to do on duty days ;p

might consider doublers too..tasty vaper has some good deals on those.

Thanks for the help all and the offer jturse. It is just my job I have to put food on the table. I am not living in a foxhole, dodging bullet like other are. I can't count on a shower, sometime hot, and 3 hot meals a day. ( I didn't say tasty meals)

They do not really check the mail, they through it in a pile and tell us to come and get it. I am on a carrier so mail for 5000+, who wants to check that.

I will definitely be checking out valuevapor out. I wasn't sure about shipping because it still needs customs forms to get there.

UntamedRose, I have been out before but this will be my first time with out smoking. I am just getting tired of the "smoke pit" b/s that we always have to deal with and also the upcoming PRT had a lot to do with it also. I have been hearing straight to the gulf so who knows about ports right now. I am in QA so I will have plenty of time on the computer to wait for pages to load, hopefully.

I understand this is different than your situation, but I've sent quite a bit of juice to my son in Afghanistan via an APO, and I didn't have to fill out any Customs forms. I have also ordered lots of stuff from online vendors and had stuff shipped there, no problem. I haven't ran into a vendor yet that won't ship to an APO. He's also ordered for himself a few times.

Oh, and I believe I recall something about vaping being illegal in Hong Kong, so you may want to check that out before you get there.
