For what its worth, I just talked to 4 different suppliers from China, and they told me they heard the news too but it wasn't a problem (at the moment). I'm expecting a big shipment this week, so I panicked when I read this news.
They all indicated that shipments may need a lot of extra time, so be aware of this when ordering.

Maybe people will wake up now and see, the "govt" does not CARE about you! They never have, not one freakin bit. If they really cared, you would think that ecigs would be GIVEN to all smokers, the savings in health care alone would more than make up for the cost. The price of cigarettes has jumped bigtime, and they want you buying them, not ecigs. They want your money, as fast as possible, then they want you dead. We are all useless feeders, goyim, ****ing cattle. Why is it alcohol is legal and marijuana is not? think about that, alcohol kills hundreds of thousands of people yearly, directly and indirectly, marijuana kills 0! The way ecigs have caught on fire over here (pun intended), they stand to lose millions/billions in tax revenue, and imagine all the healthy people that might just wake up and smell the coffee.

Oh and while im off on a rant, think about seatbelt laws for a second.. You can ride a motorcycle, in most states without a helmet, a bike too, on the road..But when you get into a 3000lb steal box, with cushiony seats and padded steering wheels, you are forced to strap yourself in or PAY for not doing so. Do seatbelts save lives? Maybe they do, maybe they dont, still not something the "govt" should be forcing people to comply with.

Why is it impossible for Atomizers to be manufactured in other countries? Mexico anyone? Its funny Hong Kong can ban E-cigs and yet all the counterfeit Oakleys, Prada Bags, Dvds etc. all go through. Regardless of what big tobacco does, the internet and a dedicated community of people have ways around things :)

just my quick 2 cents, my work is logistics for a company with factories in china, if the suppliers are in China and not hong kong then you should be fine, hell there is a port in Shenzhen (right across from Hong Kong on mainland side) that ships internationally so your providers could always use that port or a logistic's setup that runs out of there.

we have enough modders on here , i would GLADLY donate money to reserch and development to make our own made in the USA e-cig...

i also realize that not everyone on here is from the US , cheers

The sad part is that, even if people wanted a U.S.-made e-cig, the niche market of e-cigs would barely be able to support the astounding capital needed to open a production facility, much less show it steady support.

It's too expensive to produce goods in the U.S. for most people.

You make something in the U.S., you raise the price to compensate, and people gripe about it being too expensive.

You create product in a 3rd world country, the price point stays low, and people gripe about it all being made outside of the U.S.

It seems like we'll never see a large-scale operation producing hardware in the U.S.

At this time we can't produce, manufacture, import or sell anything resembling a tobacco product, e-cigarettes are banned here in Mexico.

Maybe the atomizers can be manufactured but still... this ban has to do with politic, because the argument to ban them is really stupid, EVERYTHING resembling a tobacco product is banned (candy cigarettes, chocolate cigars, etc.) because a product like that could encourage people to smoke, but the real cigarettes that kill people and encourage people to start and continue smoking are not banned.
