    Hi.

    I am having problems posting certain media, one is animated GIF, another is MP4??? from IMGR site.
    Edit, not sure about the MP4, I think that is the forum interpreting a GIF as an MP4... it is all bit strange!
    Cannot even post the URL as the forum software sees it as media and tries to format it for a media but fails.

    Cheers, and apologies if this has been dealt with before.

    For Imgur, a direct link to the gif in question is required, not the gallery page. If it has "gallery" in the URL, it will not display properly.

    MP4 is not a supported media type. GIFs are, but must be 5MB or less in size in order for the cache server to properly store it (used to keep secure connections on ECF).

    Thanks R1.

    I had a go and I am still struggling.

    Below is the link with the http: removed:
    (You might find it a interesting/amusing gif too!)

    //i.imgur.com/RemDALB.gifv

    Edit: just noticed the "V" at the end of GIF! Suspect that's the problem.

    Thanks again R1!

    It plays slow, but hey, it does play.
    We'll call that a win, and not take more time on this subject.

    Catch you around, cheers!
