For those of you trying to get 200W out of this tank: Vertical, 4 1/2 wrap 4mm ID fused claptons, 0.5mm fused with 0.2mm kanthal, wicked with rayon. I prefer it at 100W but it'll handle 200W no problem, four 1-1.5s pulls one after another, daren't try any more though.

I just tried a similar build. Vertical 24g 4.8mm 9 wraps ss316L. It hits much smoother, I do not cough as often as my previous build. I tried running it at 200w and it does indeed vapes it no problems. If you chain vape it does give you dry hits, but if you vape it normally you are alright. You would not normally chain vape it at 200w anyways, I just tried it to see how far I could vape it till it dry hits. I think I put too much rayon in their also.

Absolutely loving this thing.

Jehosephat!! Those are some big coils! Going to have to practice my hand at real coil making, cause I don't think they make kuro coilers that big. :)

I just got this atomizer. Did a standard horizontal 3mm build 6 wraps 316L 28 AWG. It seems to be working OK no leaks as far as I can see. However it is VERY noisy. I mean insanely noisy. Is this normal? There is no popping sound it just makes a lot of noise

By noisy do you mean your next door neighbor can hear your pulls and dogs bark on your street? /just joking with you :) No offence intended.

Well noise from what I've experienced and the vids I've watched kinda comes with the territory. Hard to define this subjective term. Play with your JFC and AFC and see if you can dial it in to your satisfaction. Please remember that the way the base automatically snaps into place your coils or coil sit smack dab in front of the AFC slot which is a good thing. How is the flavor? Post your build pic if you can and we can all try and help more.

Good luck!
:)

Mine makes a sizzling sound along with some popping. Almost all my tanks do. Might be due to the water I add to my juice though.

Ok, I just tried screwing it down all the way and it does indeed screw all the way down without problem. If I develop problems in the future I will let you guys know.

First problem that popped up. The Aromamizer Supreme 510 pin pushed the pin down on my Wismec DNA200 enough that it would no longer make connections with my tanks with shorter pins. Just tried my Griffin today, which has a shorter, recessed pin and it would not make connection. The Griffin does have an adjustable 510 though so I just backed it out a bit and it worked. Tanks without adjustable 510 you may be out of luck though.

Not really the Aromamizer Supreme's fault, just thought I would update for anyone interested.

Try verticals, seemed to solve the noisy airflow of horizontals for me, as well as some spitback I was getting. Flavour is still just as good if your coils are fairly close to the airflow holes as well. Only downside is it's a bit of a pain to wick.

Edit: I say solved, it's still not quiet, but as quiet as it can be for a tank with that amount of airflow, and it's a very smooth noise at least.

Here is my build

I wouldn't say neighbor can hear  me but definitely enough to wake up anyone next to me or to be heard in another room with doors closed. I know the AF is right in front of coils but so it is in the velocity and the sound level is nowhere near. The flavor is great I would say same level as dripping. Clouds are a little less but to be expected. Overall I am loving this thing it is just a shame I cannot use it at work because of noise.

@Danneh I will surely try that. Was avoiding it because of the PIA to build vertical

@filcei The build looks fine. Wish I could help more but I'm stumped. I understand your work issue. I use more KGD and my coils (Kanthal) sit higher but I'm just grasping at straws and their is certainly more than one way to build and wick properly.

Good luck

Tried some vertical coils and it seems to reduce noise a little bit, not completely sure though. I guess it is just the way the chamber is designed. It is strange because with the cap off it makes less noise than with the cap on. I had never seen this on any atomizer before.

However after 2 days of use I am really starting to like it. The flavor on this thing is immense. The drawback I guess is that it seems to magically make juice disappear (seriously I went through 50ml in 2 days)

Joined the supreme family yesterday. I have to try verticals. Right now im running a 26g SS316L horizontal build but im having some wicking issues.

That is odd I'm running at 100w and get no wicking issues. I use as thick a wick as I can get in their. You remember to turn the juice flow back on?

Ditto! I stuff the coils with as much KGD as I can fit in. Tightly wicked! Try this:

Close OFF the JFC
Vape the excess juice off If you have not yet rewicked
Open the JFC and start with the first bar and a ballpark for you AF like half way open
Vape and then move to the second bar and slowly move up/open the JC until you hit your sweet spot

HTH

This tank was meant for horizontals imo

I beg to differ good sir, this is the build I mentioned above. PITA to wick, but my juices don't really gunk up, only reason it's getting there is I've been using an emergency car-juice I bought from a shop :p (edit: I will concede that horizontals are much easier!)
