So i recently got a itaste svd, a few carto tanks, and i used to use evods.

Ive been using the carto tanks because the evod's don't work with my SVD well. There is no air flow.

In this photo i borrowed from another topic, you can see one SVD has a small circle cut out, the other doesn't

only one of my 6 evods hardly works, 2 don't even register

I read a little into this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../439480-comparing-two-itaste-svds-w-pics.html
I bought it from a well known canadian supplier. Is it possible i got a old model, or a fake/fasttech model? But mainly, Is there a way i can make it so i can use them, or am i boned on this mod? hoping there is a small attachment to give it proper airflow

edit: okay, i figured out the 3 air holes in the evods get blocked by the threads. Ill have to try an adapter or get drill happy. loosening it they will not make contact

I'd be more inclined to think that the vent holes in the bases or wire lock collet of the EVODs are clogged up... It's through those vents that an EVOD "breaths". Can your EVODs even reach the bottom where that cutout is? My SVD has the cutout... and I found a genuine Kanger EVOD to try... it doesn't even thread down far enough to reach it.

You can buy a 510/eGo extension/adapter and try that.

what's this mean ? firing or breathing

sounds like it is your SVD is at fault
the EVOD air intake holes are farther up the collar and could only be blocked by threads from inside

unless I am missing something...
Yeah Zep... I'm not quite getting the big picture either. :)
