Svd questions

I've got an svd with an aspire nautilus and wanted to know if an rba like a kayfun would work on it. I've never done a rebuild before but I'm mechanical inclined so I can probably handle it. Any suggestions?

Yes, it will work. Both the SVD and the Kayfun are 510 threaded. Added bonus: the SVD can check the resistance of the coils you build.

I actually hadn't tried it yet, but since you asked, I did.
And not only does it work fine, it looks great!!
That's a polished Russian 91%, but I think any Russian or Kayfun would be cool - I WOULD recommend one that's got an adjustable 510 pin, so you can be sure you'll "reach" the pin on the SVD.
I'm actually BAD at building coils - I just suck at it, and don't enjoy it - but I still managed to get this thing vaping nicely.

Svd can work lower ohms too , I am using one with a 0.83 ribbon coil on it and it hits like a champ , here is the T-3 with 100% cotton 4 wrap build , not on svd in pic but I use it on it a lot . This is first ribbon but have done a lot in 34 Kanthal wire , good luck it is much better to build your own coils , greater satisfaction ,
