SVD what does this mean? (0.0 but coil tests ok)

Just popped in a new coil - fresh from a Kanger box.
Press + and -, and it reads 2.0A, which as usual, is close enough.
But when I press the fire button, nothing happens, and it reads 0.0A.

This is repeatable.

I am accustomed to a dud coil reading "non" right off the bat.
Why would I get a good resistance reading with a test, but nothing when I fire?

Have you tried another coil yet, to see if its the coil or the mod?

Ive noticed more often than not that is due to overtightening. The base is making contact but the contact point is not because it has recessed. Try pulling out the head and pullling out the contact and the white rubber plug a bit.

Guessing you're using a protank?

I already pulled the coil - threw it in the "soon, I have to start rebuilding" bucket.
It's not the SVD - working perfectly.

But indoorsindica, you are VERY likely correct - that just makes sense.
I just haven't had ANY trouble with pushed-in pins, so I didn't think of it!
Yep - it's a ProTank.

Over tightening shouldn't be an issue on the SVD since the contact point is spring loaded.
