Hello all! I have been vaping for a little over two weeks now. Which has helped me quit a PAD habit for 15 years.

I have been using a twist for on the go and a Vamo for when I am home. I have been using the forum standards Vivi Mini Nova, a cartotank and Ego C atomizer with plastic tank. I was curious about all the RBA hubub and said what the hell, purchased two clones, a Phoenix and a Bully in the classifieds from a very nice fellow member here for a little more than I would spend for a pack of smokes. I was going to have to re-wick  but said what the heck, it's the best way to get your feet yet. Decided to re-wick the Phoenix first, after watching a few videos, piece of cake. Got the ohm reading from my Vamo (love that feature) 1.4 ohm, juice it up with my ADV Tribecca and give it a toot..... Holy crap!! I have never had a vape like that! I have been smoking this juice for two weeks and NEVER knew it could taste like that. With my other delivery devices I would some hints of it, have to drink some water, and wait to magically taste that flavor again the next day. Not with the Phoeinix, I am light headed from not being able to put it down. Throat hit is amazing as well. I have not re-wicked the Bully but I hope I will be get the same result as it has a tip tank and will not have to drip.

So, for new members who are on the fence on these or are just unhappy with the flavor or delivery systems out there, give a ReBuildable Atomizer a try before giving up.

Thanks for reading and the advice from many here.

Happy Holidays!

Similar situation for me. I've tried practically everything out there. I decided to try dripping and got an Ikenvape Cannon and am now using a 306 atty with a DCA. Wow! What a difference. I won't be using tanks or cartos anymore, that for sure.

For any newbies reading: dripping and atomizers have a bit of a learning curve. You might want to make sure you have backups for when you get frustrated with it.

I started vaping 3 months ago and was using clearomizers and refilling cartomizers. So then i got a HH 357 and wow what a difference.this was with ego twists by the way.So then i got a chobra (a cheap genisis atomizer)and a provari, and IMO that is the best vaping experience i have had to date.I have found two really good genisis attys and cant wait to get them

Welcome to all you new members, and congrats on making the switch.

Just be sure to check the resistances of your coils a few times when you first build them and be sure they are stable. Also here is a "Safe Vaping Chart" so you know where you can and can not go.
Vape safe and feel free to ask away.

Tried em and while they're good it's just too much Drama for me. Especially when there are Fusions from the one who invented them, Ikenvape. I've tried every kind of setup on the market almost and nothing vapes as good as a tanked Fusion, on a Buzz Pro, set at around 5 volts. Easy, most vapor, best flavor. But as with all vaping supplies it is subjective and thank God for that because if everyone liked my setup it would be out of stock more than it already is.
Great post BTW.

PS: Here is an easy to use Ohms, Watts, Etc. Calculator to use. Just fill in 2 levels and it will calculate the rest. Ohm's Law Calculator

No problem I forgot to mention that another member here created this. I can't for the life of me remember his name. I wish he would PM me because I plaster this thing everywhere I feel it's pertinent. It is an invaluable tool for the new direction vaping is headed.
So thanks to him. :)

Good read. I had ruled out RBA for now due to the warnings, but definitely reconsidering now. I'll have to take a closer look at the tutorial videos. Im starting PV with a stock ego-c and lack of taste is my only "problem". Taste is guiding my next device choice.

I had the same issue and own an ego-c starter kit that I still use for out and about while using a Ego APV (Vamo) at home. Everybody can give you choices as there are stars in the sky. It all comes down to reading, reading, reading. This place is a wealth of information. Having a local shop helps trying out stuff but I do not have one. Feel free to pm me with any questions, I do not have all the answers but I can answer with what I have experienced so far.

Thanks for posting the chart, I had found it when I first started researching ohms, V and Watts. Also thank you for the tank info I will loo into it.
