Sweetener % add to total flavoring?

Perhaps this is a n00b question with a simple answer, but what is the general rule around this. Does the sweetener (EM or sucralose) count towards the total flavoring percentage?


For instance:

15% DRY4
2% em

Would that be 17% total or 15% total with sweetener to taste?

Any thing added effects the Nic % (mg per ml).

Not TOO worried about changing the NIC percentage, but you bring up a good point. Adding 2% of anything to say 12mg/mL solution will drop that percentage down. The reason why I ask is because I made a DRY4 that needs to be a tad sweeter and didn't want to get into the danger zone of "over-flavored" by adding some EM

Adding EM will make it sweeter but also likely to reduce/ subdue flavor. There are better sweetners IMO.
