Switch/atty_connection_issue

The_switch_seems_to_be_too_big_for_the_housing...

When_any_atty_is_put_on,_the_plastic_boot_gets_pushed_towards_the_battery...

The_result_is_extreme_pressure_on_the_external_battery-casing_to_fire.
I_have_bruised_fingertips_from_pushing_so_hard.

Any_way_to_soften_the_switch/keep_it_from_being_moved_by_the_atty?

Hey what batterys are you using ? i got the ultra* model and the best if not the only battery that will fit loose in the sleeve are the AW IMR , others 14500 like trustfire are a bit bigger and fit tight plus you well feel like you have to drag harder and with just a tiny gap between the contact.

Apply some Vaseline to the top of the outside of the battery tube. This will lubricate it and make it much easier to fire. Should be done once a week.

It's_not_a_clearance_issue...The_switch_is_intermittently_firing_while_always_in_contact.

I_was_wondering_why_the_AVA_was_giving_such_lack-luster_vapor...It_was_the_mod.

It's_all_good...If_I_can_enjoy_this_ultra-max_while_like_this,_I_cannot_wait_for_the_new_switch_to_get_here.

If the switch is hard to fire, the Vaseline trick will help. If the issue is that it doesnt fire, you probably want to try polishing both ends to remove the tarnish. If its still not it, try soaking in lime juice which should fix it.

I've_polished_both_ends...

Haven't_tried_lime_juice...I_did_mod_the_spring_a_bit_for_easier_lift.

It's_hard_to_explain--I_need_to_spin_the_battery-sleeve_around_while_applying_pressure_until_it_fires.
Worked_great_the_first_day,_but_then_got_harder_and_harder_to_fire.

Update...It_was_the_switch.

New_one_fires_consistently..Old_one_needed_a_soak_twice_a_day.
