Errybody wants a custom one off but then China is watching too lol.. They probably had it posted on alibaba 1 sec after you posted it on-line.
Im not kidding, they did that to quite a few modders, Mamu was on their speed dialer as others.. They didn't even bother to change the picture just alt-,c alt-v, her posted pictures.. They play ecig biz tight and hardcore...

the fistpack was made from a plastic portable device charger that was basically a molded box mod. This is quite distant from that.

Not really. And that's why Bap's design was eventually described by him as "fistpack-like".

Dr g, Bap's are 3d printed enclosures round on one side for the battery and tapered square on the other for the DNA with metal plates and endcaps but a single body sort of like the fistpack, considering how the finished exterior of the mod looked.

Drago's mod here has a separate battery tube and sx-350 compartment joined at the top. If Bap's is fistpackish, then this one is backpackish. If we hold both up to the bright sun and squint at the silhouettes, then we might figure both are just fistpacks.

asdaq you make a very valid point. One of the key reasons I went with that form factor is it was the best way to conceal the chip and charge port, without the need for a face plate. There were also technical limitations of the machine that factored in to the selection.

It's very interesting this is coming up. I have on my desk at the shop, an unfinished full bodied chassis (no external tube). I'm tossing around some ideas regarding the face plate, how best to secure and conceal. I hope to have that one done soon.

I'm bracing myself for the next wave of lashes for that mod.

Unless someone developed something that doesn't use a wick and coil, there is no millions to be made making these products. No one is inventing the wheel, just reinventing and envisioning it. Respect is the reward, and I give plenty to everyone making these products. I have never seen anything evolve so quickly.

I did participate in the discussions here about Bap's mod and the similarity to the ZNA; didn't you also? So we know exactly what the lineage of that type of mod is. One of bap's renders even highlights the board and atomizer collar although none of his prints exhibited that separation. The single long battery with the module alongside it, with the atomizer over the battery, with the rounded/tube section that fits in your hand has the fistpack as prior art, whether or not the builder actually was aware of the fistpack (I started using the exact same enclosure before I even found out the fistpack existed).

Wow. Don't these genuine manufacturers have any firepower to stop their devices from being copied overseas? Is it impossible to go after a blatant copyright infringement? First attys, then chips, now entire mods being FAKED!

Hana is going after the resellers here in the USA of the Hana clones with lawsuits with a vengeance for using their trademark.
Actual profits from sale of clones + Hana loss of sales + court costs + lawyer fees + $150,000 + anything else the court will allow.
From what I hear the courts are normally very much on the side of the trademark holder.

Yep.... as it should be...Trademarks/patents/copyrights and etc. are their to protect.....not to be broken....

Funny that many vendors have gone underground to continue to sell the counterfeit hana's.... what doers that say for the vendors....not much I think....

I love the mod! I'm currently working on making a wood box mod with a similar look and feel but could for sure use some pointers. I have a DNA 30 I'm putting in my first mod with hopes of using a sx350 chip on my second. Any pointers or pros and cons would be appreciated. For all the people tripping out over similar looking mods and designs perk up an ear. No one on this site or any other that is making or has plans of making their own mod is not going to be 100% original... If you or using wood or metal, a tube or box wires or mechanical. It's all been done before. offer words of encouragement to your fellow molders and designers. This should all go down as open source due to the very nature of what we are doing. If your going to make a profit great! We are all here to avoid big tobacco, acting like them will make people run and new people from coming up with new ideas and adding to the network of ideas that are already here. I get that this is some people's livelihood and that it's big business for a lot of people, but that's no reason to be a .....hat.
