The SXK Vapeshell clone looks pretty rough - chimney section and deck don't fit beautifully together like the Atmizoo version but it vapes nearly identically. I'm running them side by side with the same juice and build and can't really tell the difference. It's a bummer cause Atmizoo designed a special atty there and it's not expensive. They deserve all the sales they can get. I bought the original after the clone and wish I'd never bought the clone. Guilty!!
Another Atmizoo atty for the BB is the Doggy, don't understand why it's so not loved. Although the vapeshell is brilliant because of the huge deck. Me, I love both the same.

I've got most of the rebuildables that are available for the BB and I still think the vapeshell has the edge on flavour....but lets face it anything in the BB doesn't disappoint on the flavour front. It's more an issue of does it taste even better :)

That would be great....i'm a member of the secret panel project group but not albert's group...well I don't think so :)

I've sent him an email and offered to pay for a pre-order.....we shall see
You can only invite friends to the group, so I sent you a request. ;)

Here, try this build. It works for me, you might be needing more cotton. 3mm is the ideal width of the coil although you could build 2.5mm

Sorry to hear about the vapeshell trouble :)

Watch this video and wick it exactly like you see.. Works everytime for me.

Glad you're loving the Billet Box... It is impressive isn't it :)

Thanks I’ll give these a try tomorrow, I’ve been kindly sent a SXK VS and a couple Excocets today. The excocets great :)

I ordered an SXK Vapeshell last night from 3F, I choose 3F because FT seemed to not be engraved and I wanted the match marks. I'll inspect it when it arrives.
Yeah my FT Vapeshell clone has no engraving at all. I had to add my own little mark to easily tell which sides were which.

Yep... I've bought 3 of the Billet Box panels and one Bantam... These are a must have IMO

How about a clear Boro to go with the shiny bits:
Buy SXK PC Tank for BB Box Mod Kit / Bantam Box BB Mini Box Mod

FT will probably have them in a day or two...

My clone VapeShell has the engraving on the wrong side of the upper section. If you put it together with the engraving facing out, the sections do not fit together properly. The mating cut out on one side is wider than the other, I assume that is the same for the authentic.

I'm glad to hear it's not just mine that's like that haha.

3f is where i got mine,so i am guessing yours will probably be backwards too.If it is,you'll know pretty quick because if you put the engraving on top and bottom sections facing the same way,it won't close the seam tightly, flip the top around and the gap close perfectly.

For quite some time I have been using one of my old cartomizers that has the business end soldered together with silver solder to check mod resistance on dna mods. Tonight I finally shortened it to fit in a Billet Box. After cleaning all threads and polishing mod's positive pin I got 0.009 ohms on my red one and 0.011 ohms on my gold one. I re-cleaned and checked again, same figures. A setting of 0.010 would probably be a pretty close amount for most, closer than 0 ohms.

And did you ever doubt that the BB would perform like a champ... As usual :D:D

Good job ...lovely bit of machining.
will need to wait and see how the bb and me get on before spending almost as much on the RBA as the device itself. the clone will be extensively put through its paces before any decision is made. hurry up slow boat! it left on east on the 27th.

That slow slow boat from the East. And will the postman leave the toys in the letter box or one of his evil "collect at post office" cards?

it's usually worse than that...
the cards proclaim 'sorry we missed you'.
sorry? are you? too lazy to humph a small package in your mail bag more like. i've had these cards when i'm in the house and there is no knock at the door. grrr.
