I ordered my SXK from 3FVape early last week (Saturday or Sunday I think it was. Came yesterday. 1 week isn’t bad for shipping. Have only used a Clapton OCC cool so far. Have had “the crud” all weekend, so I haven’t felt like building anything for the build deck. So far I like it. Need a different drop tip, though.

And also Limelight 50/fifty... I wonder!
Things will get rough for me again in the next few years. I have most everything I need to continue vaping, but also stocked spare parts. I'm no handy woman, but husband has made several things for me through the years.
I wonder about the Altoids tin BB... Size is just about...

Susaz.. When you look at a simple box mod much they are so minimal in terms of of need that any material which provides the strength needed should be fine.

Switches can always be adapted from other things but you would need a stock of 510's.. Maybe it's worth picking up a handful :D

But no I don't think any kind of outright ban would stop people vaping as they really are easy to make and the only other thing, the RDA is simple and easy too.

If you go for anything experimental tell all :) It will be really interesting to see you go through the process. :D

Not just the ban, here is the dollar/peso exchange rate. In bad times, almost everything vape related becomes too expensive. And with rising living costs, vaping is the first thing that suffers. I had to stop vaping in the past due to this, I hope this time doesn't. Stocked on switches and boards to exchange most things for two billets, since I use them a lot to go out.
Argentina has been a banned country for 10 years. We are looking forward to emigrating to a retiree haven, US or EU. Husband doesn't speak english so Malaga greater area will most probably be the place.

Come to the south of France I've met several Brazilian's here. Great climate, great country to live in and they're are pretty easy going on immigrants. I sell houses all the time to expats who come to live here permanently. All you need is a 'carte de sejour' and that's pretty easy... You just need to show them your means of support and your good.

Bon chance :D:rolleyes:

My french is hideous!
I'm Italian by birth, my parents were Argentine, and husband is spanish by birth. So a nice mix of places to choose from. We still have to decide if we're keeping rents here or moving them to EU, with the global economy is easy. I'm not that aquainted with the south of France, all I want is sunshine year round! My paternal grandmother came from Algeciras, so I know my way around. We're still deciding if we want a small cottage in an andalusan village.

Back to the dark ages, mech mods are and always will be the way of the jedi-vaper..I was about to sale all of the remaining OG I have but I hear a voice in the back of my head telling me to keep it. That heavy metal will last an eternity.

So either my Bantam box uses a substantial amount of battery when it's off and sitting or the cell is going south.
I'll charge it full, change to another cell and figure it out.
OK I now have a handle on this. From Friday night till now (Wednesday morning) the cell in the Bantam Box with it off drained the cell down to 3.6 volts. The cell not in the mod stayed the same.
So now the question is will it stop at somewhere above 2.5 volts or will it take it all the way down to discard time. I'm not going to try to find out, I suspect the worst.

Both of mine are the DNA version.

NOW I've done it though. I broke the tactile firing switch on the one I've been working on LOL! I'll have to find another one.

That pic isn't actually of mine though btw.

How did you go with your button hunt?

I just noticed these listed on FT today:

They "may" do the job, would certainly be worth a try if you haven't found any other options... Edit: It says "20mm" wide, might be a bit wide, but you could probably trim around the edges... Worth a try at the price...

Thanks :) I ordered 2. At that price you're right. Not much to lose by trying.

BBV is outta stock and it would cost me almost 30 bucks after shipping to get that exact one, either from them or the outfit in Canada. For some reason, SXK went silent on me about this switch.

I wound up ordering another Gold BB from Legend, which cost about the same as 3 of these switches and figured I'd work out the switch situation on the other one later.

If this one works, that would be jist peechy keen. I can use the broken switch as a template to fit another one.

My first little Bantam arrived today. Now I wait for the shiny gold bits to pedal across the globe from Canada. So far Canada post seems tortoise-like.

Apologies for duplicating these shots in the Pictures of your setup part 3. Kids in candy stores etc

I got the same colour, looks good... Mine has been sitting back in Tassie for the last 6 weeks, I'll finally get my hands on it in a couple of days along with all my other BB related vape mail that's been mounting up for the last 4+ months, can't wait ! :D

So how does it vape?, happy with it?

I'm vaping the included Aspire BVC coil (1.8 Ohms/ 14 W) right now.
Seems ok but I'm a rebuildable guy so after I've finished work today I'll try a lower build in the Insider or the Vapeshell. - maybe around 0.8 Ohms. It feels great in the hand but the door panels move a tiny bit. It's definitley hard to put down and there's a bit of love at first sight going on. Battery life will be interesting. Speaking of batteries I might pm you if that's ok about 18490/18500 battery availability in Aus?

The Crossbow might be right up your alley in the Bantam.

I've been curious about the Crossbow. Pretty much the only popular rebuildable bridge (apart from the Xena) that I don't have. Wicking ports look tight to the bottom of the boro. Does it ever go dry hit with 70/30juice (like the Vapeshell occasionally)?

I've only tried salt juice in it which is probably not 70/30, but Todd says in his review that he was using 70/30 with no issues.
