Just a heads up for anyone who might be interested, but this upcoming tank from the makers of the 101 tube mod (I think) peaked my interest when I saw it. Only 2ml and short like a Doggy, but it was the deck and chimney that more than raised an eyebrow... "true-mtl-rta"

Me likey! I do like the look. (TRUE!)

Are wishes welcome? If so, I do wish it held another ml, ml and a 1/2. Other than that, IF the price points warrants my beliefs on it, it just might find its way home to KD.

I like it also, but, I've never had a top fill I liked. I don't like fiddling to keep it from leaking from a refill.

Leaking after filling is mostly with tanks you have to screw top cap... my Sirens never leak after filling (unless wicking is not right)... True tank seems to have top cap that require only 90 degrree twist to expose filling holes so I think leaking will not be a problem.

Nano tank? Dam how much smaller do you need? The 3.5 dog is like the shortest rta around.....perhaps once they add the top fill the 3.5 becomes longer?
So, a post just popped up on a MTL group on Facebook. New Doggystyles coming from Animodz:

1. New design, top fill Doggystyle 2K18
2. Nano tank for the Doggystyle 2K16

No real details yet, but....yeah, I'm interested.

Great find Shane thank you. Early days but I have mixed feelings about this news. Top fill capability holds no interest to me personally but I know it is on a lot of wishlists so it's good to see for them, but I'm also quite disheartened that it appears they haven't addressed the threaded plastic tank and lacklustre AFC control/ring, which seems identical to the current version from that photo.

I'm hoping for the best but prepared for the worst after seeing that photo

My doggy is out for delivery today. Looking forward to trying the RBA that is the focus of 106 pages of posts!

It might be helpful for TPD compliance.

The smaller tank might work well for me too since I limit myself to 2ml per day and try to reduce the nicotine over time. My other tanks (and pods) are 2ml.

The top fill looks similar to the Korean design that toolman posted earlier. (photos of Korean custom below)

Also found this ultem with top fill from a Korean custom manufacturer... about $100 to get to the states so not going to happen but would love a mass produced version LOL:

Good point on tpd compliance and at least in the photos the 3.5ml does look a bit taller with the top fill. I also see your point in your tank capacity being a limiting factor on how much juice you like to vape per day, but only if your vaping one single tank with one single juice per day....my taste buds would not taste if I vaped one juice all day, so I mix it around with multiple set ups. I do estimate 2 to 3mls per day myself, but it's just a close estimate because I vape from at least 6 set ups per day. Thanks for the info

Just got one of these, browsed around this thread but haven't read 106 pages ...
Like the simple design, but the prospect of having to expose the sticky, gooey workings just to fill it has me doubtful that this design has a useful place as an everyday solution.
Has anyone just drilled thru & tapped some threads for a bottom fill, ala Kayfun lite style ?

They are certainly cheap enough to try and drill thru bottom, but don't think I have heard of anyone doing that. I personally don't get sticky or juicy fingers when refilling, if you just hold the base edge and set it down, then refill and screw back in, I don't seem to get anymore messy then any of my other rtas. I think once you get use to it, it won't be to bad....now I agree on the old kfl with screw, some had issues with seepage, but if not it was a very clean refill and I personally liked it and found it extremely easy as long as you had a screwdriver

In my experience, at least, no more sticky or gooey than most topfills. Never had an issue.
