I like both dna and SX chips. They both perform well. What I don't like is LIPO batteries. That's actually why I use the SX more. I vape at 45 to 50 watts so my dna mods with 18650s don't cut it anymore and DNA 200 uses LIPOs. I only use the DNA when I'm at home or short trips when I know that I will have enough battery charge to last my trip.

I too had a ML device with a SX chip. Kept it a week and passed it to someone who wanted it. I could have posted a long list of my thoughts in the ML thread but I chose to only say it was not for me. It wasn't about which device is best or why it may not be. You don't like Li-Po's and I respect your opinion. I guess we could banter back and forth but my opinion is that such banter serves no purpose.

I keep up with and post occasionally here as I'm interested in seeing what actually comes out and the spec's of the Q.

I've used Li-Po's for years. I mostly vape at around 25 watts. I also use 18650's and they work for me also. The majority of my mods are Li-Po. I have a buddy that vapes at around 23-27 watts an he has a 3 cell 18650 device that he says gets 3.5 to 4 days between charges. It's a bit heavy for me but he loves it. All that really matters, I think, is what makes one happy and satisfied.

Actually, my reason for not liking LIPOs is because my whole vaping ecosystem evolves around 18650s. I have multiple chargers and batteries, at home, my city office, my provincial office and my retail stores. I guess I don't want to have to add to my existing 18650 ecosystem. I also avoid using the USB ports to charge. I have a device or 2 with broken USB ports. The only LIPOs I have is my VS DNA 200 and my Variant. I'm very happy with it. I am just afraid to leave the house with it even if it's fully charged. The only time I smoked a cigarette since I started vaping was when I ran out of batteries.

Interesting how our whole ecosystem is so different. Mine evolves around Li-Po's and even my 18650's are charged via USB. I don't leave the house without a back-up device complete with atty. I hate being out and about and, for whatever reason, one set-up can't be used.

It looked like it was going to be released this month but YIHI posted on FB that there has been a delay with the engineers solving some kind of problem. At this point I don't have a clue when it will be released. :(

Is the IPV pure tank the same thing?

Got an email this morning from VaporDNA advertising them in stock....

Video re: SX Pure X2:

Was reading a bit about the Pure and found this: Understanding Yihi's New SX Pure Technology - Origin Vape
Says in part: The temperature coefficient of resistance has not been release yet, and we can expect an update on this soon.

So, it seems logical to me, that the Pure could be used with any TC mod that supports 0.05 ohms and 75 watts. If it turns out the SX Pure is wonderful I'll have one, or two....depending on the MSRP and cost of replacement heating elements.

According to this they're in stock for $30. One thing I wonder about is who is right about tank size. Origin says 2ml and VapoeDNA says 3.5ml. The site below says 4ml.

iPV Pure atomiser with SX Pure coil head - TimboZero Vaping

Pioneer4You IPV Pure X2 Tank - Origin Vape

Found this code to use at Origin.
Pioneer4You IPV Pure X2 Tank Use code 'VAPECRAWLERISTHEBEST' for 6% off non-clearance items

Pioneer4You IPV Pure X2 Tank - Origin Vape

According to that link that tank is the PIONEER4YOU IPV PURE X2 TANK
We will probably know the MSRP's and tank size when the SX Pure actually is the wild ...or when the pre-orders start popping up.

I'm still confused if the IPV Pure and the SX Pure are the same tank or not. On the Pioneer4you FB page it says the IPV Pure uses YIHI's SX Pure technology. I don't know if that means they're the same or different?

From this video it seems to me the IPV tank is Pioneer4you and the heating element is SX Pure.

I did a through search of the net and couldn't find any talk of YIHI branded tank, so the iPV Pure X2 must be the one and only tank that uses the SX Pure coil-less head. I went ahead and ordered one from Origin. If you register for their newsletter before you order you'll get 10% off making it $27.

Yeah the Atlus is pretty expensive for what you get. Plus I read it has a long ramp up time.

Some reviewer even claim that vapor and flavor is so weak that you need to manipulate the meting bracket that hold the chip. I almost bought this tank and with that pricing I can add a bit more to get myself a Kayfun V4.
