Hi after watching a view vids of filling carts i prefer the look of using a syringe with a needle on the end and filling the filling from the inside out. Only problem is where do i get a needle in the UK without being or looking like a drug addict. P.S Im not really that bothered about looking like one as long as i can fill my carts lol.

Cheers Lee.

10ml would do fine that's what i use and you only want blunt needles anyway.
Thing is the needles i have are a little narrow and could do with being wider but i have no idea what gauge they are.
I would also suggest in the future to get a big 30ml syringe for when you want to get the liquid out of full carts like the vid below .

Cool i did go ahead and buy those syringes with the blunt needles, i saw one of igetcha's vids before where he uses a syringe the same as in that video to squeeze the juice out of dead carts, i wonder if i would be able to do that with the syringes i have coming even though they are smaller? Maybe i could but would need to use tweezers or something to get the filling material back out the syringe after, i can try at least. Oh and that has just reminded of something else i need to get Tweezers! Im also going to get a can of air to blast the atomiser each night. I think thats about it almost everything i need.

Cheers Lee.

Save money and use your lungs - wow, mine seem to have more power every day! I get a few drops of fairly dark liquid out of it each night (I haven't been tempted to retrieve it for reuse, and I can't quite take tweezers seriously - are you really that desperate to want to retrieve what's left in a spent cart? :))

But make sure you blow from the switch end, or you might be driving carbonized/particulate crud into the atomiser. And if it happens to be wider than the inlet, that wouldn't be good, oh no

Well from a lot of the vids i have seen it looks like tweezers are real handy to have with these things for just adjusting the carts etc.

But to answer the second part im not sure yet i have seen vids where loads and loads comes out which would have just been wasted, i think it also comes down to the e-cig you use where some drain most and some lucky if you get 3 quarters!

Im still not sure if this stuff degrades at all over time, i wonder if you did extract from dead carts it would taste the same? Im just obsessing about getting things ready because my e-cig has not come yet so im just reading about them 24/7 lol. Still im pretty sure it's going to land on my doorstep tomorrow!

Thinking about it i will still need the tweezers to get the old filling out and wash it before i put a different juice in it, still i have a feeling i can steal some off the missus haha ;)

Cheers Guys Lee.

The carts are like 50c each in bulk - you can afford loads of flavours of juice, but not a fresh cart for each one? :)
Having said that, I often top off with a different flavour - that way I can taste when the cart's running out again, and top it up. Somewhere down at the bottom of most of them is the default "tobacco" flavour that came with the kit. On top of that I've laminated Janty Oriental and TW French Pipe - a very pleasing combination! ( The violet Marlboro has been banished to its own fresh carts.)

I did not realise i could get blank carts for the Pilot M401, am i wrong? If so where can i get them from in the UK, i did not see them on the e-cigs.co.uk website when i bought my M401 thats why i bought a load of filled carts to re-use when empty.

Cheers Lee.

Edit - You got to realise i am really noob at this lol, my e-cig has not even dropped on my doorstep yet, im crossing my fingers for tomorrow :D So the TW french pipe is good, i nearly ordered that.

I think those are the ones I bought and they're absolutely fine for the job.

Great :) I was surprised just how easy they are were to get actually. I would not have thought ebay would let people sell them on there knowing how strict they can be on certain things. Still if it's advertised for anything apart from injecting i suppose sellers can get away with it which is all good :D

Hi lee,
You can also go get a small pack at the pharmacy. Diabetics need them. My cat was diabetic and I used to have to buy them for her. THey never gave me any problem at all.

Hmm, they do look a bit like hens' teeth actually! puresmoker.com in the US has a batch coming in any time now I think, and might export if you ask nicely? (worth asking anyway. I know they're affiliated with e-cigs.co.uk, but unless they're getting them in too, that's not much help to you.) Or apparently you can use EVO carts (looks like some people prefer them.)

Supplies seem a bit patchy across the board ATM (all us noobs jumping into the market as the popularity skyrockets I guess :)) and I don't keep much of an eye on any models except my minipipe, but I'm sure there must be some 401 users out there who can point you in the right direction. If you can't get any right away, at least you have the filled ones - and you may even need those tweezers after all! :)

I'm a noob too, but trying to learn fast :)
Some people love the French Pipe, some people hate it. It's quite sweet and caramelly, but with some spicy/nutty undertones too - maybe marzipan? Reminds me of Backwoods honey berry cigars (another "love em or hate em" experience,) but not quite so sickly.

Hope the postman's knocking on your door about now with a nice, fat package :)
