Seriously guys and gals, just put clear packing tape over em and be done with it... lol.

Just be sure they are loc syringes, cheapies, cause they all can and will wear out. Even the glass ones use orings and those wear as well. Especially with exposure to chemicals. Menthol will destroy the seals in glass syringes too.

Seriously, tape em. Lets take the rocket science out of rocket science here.... its a disposable item. Tape will save the numbers for longer than the syringe will last.

So menthol does not pair well with the rubber in syringes? I haven't had problems with it yet but if that's the case, I might as well do the eye dropper + counting drops method.

I don't think you have to be afraid of using menthol in a syringe. I've been using menthol for well over 2 years and I've never had a problem. So I wonder if maybe something else was mixed in with the menthol mentioned above that caused the problem...maybe some mint oil?

I once had a vendor's peppermint which I believe was made from Lorann's peppermint oil. That stuff was wicked strong. I diluted some by half with plain PG & put it in a glass bottle with dropper top. The rubber part of the dropper top melted into a black, tarry goo.

I suspect you were using the cheap B-D syringes with numbers that look to have been applied with some sort of inkjet printer. ...

I think a Big Problem with Many Syringes is that they are Designed for "Single Use".

They weren't meant to be Washed or used more than Once.
