Ahhh good ole swiftech :) That was who I used when I did my first h20 system, I had gotten the Swiftech H20-8501 to review back in 2004 and the wayback time machine still has most of the review :)

I love swiftech, my pump is still going strong after four years now, lol that swiftech h20 8501 is old school, reminds me of the 775 and 939 socket days when amd was king of the hill, wish amd would give intel a little competition so prices would drop.

Getting close to time for new GPU's though, amazing the PPD estimate for mine overclocked is about 22k per card. Most GTX460's is closer to 12-14k. Other than tessalation and high res gaming(I game at 1080p so not an issue), These old GPU's hang and even occasionally beat a GTX680

tbh, I cannot even remember what this machine has in it, but from the dump of what it THINKS it has in it....
15:42:11: CPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3430 @ 2.40GHz
15:42:11: CPU ID: GenuineIntel Family 6 Model 30 Stepping 5
15:42:11: CPUs: 4
15:42:11: Memory: 9.75GiB
15:42:11:Free Memory: 2.35GiB
15:42:11: Threads: POSIX_THREADS
15:42:11: On Battery: false
15:42:11: UTC offset: -5
15:42:11: PID: 11044
15:42:11: CWD: /var/lib/fahclient
15:42:11: OS: Linux 2.6.32-45-generic x86_64
15:42:11: OS Arch: AMD64
15:42:11: GPUs: 1
15:42:11: GPU 0: NVIDIA:2 GF116 [GeForce GTX 550 Ti]
15:42:11: CUDA: 2.1
15:42:11:CUDA Driver: 5000

But of course the FAHClient cannot utilize the GPU under Linux without a .... storm of work.

I dunno how many drives I have in this, I think its 8, and they are all RAID6'ed into a giant ball.

I built it all in a day, like a year ago, never really paid much attention to what I put into it.

Nice specs, what is the estimate on ppd for your Xeon? If you could fold on the 550 you'd be smoking

My points per day are crappy until I get over 10 WU, but the machine can do about 1 SMP WU per day. Which should work out to be around 9000 points per day, after I get my 10. Of course this assumes I know-what-the-hell I am talking about.

The points and points bonuses are still a little hazy. My base credit/day is about 1700.
