Try replacing the silica wicks with cotton cheesecloth wicks.

I've replaced all my T3's and Mini T3's (which use the same head) with cotton and don't have any leaking or sputtering. The only thing you have to be careful about is if you take too many draws over a short period of time you can get a dry hit, so give it time to resaturate the wick.

Also, don't dry burn with the cotton wick in place. When you do a dry burn pull out the wick, dry burn, then replace it with a new one.

Information on how to make a cotton cheesecloth wick is here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/clearomizers/385799-how-i-re-wick-my-t3s-cheesecloth-pictues.html
