A coworker totally gave me two tacos at work yesterday...It was the best day ever! Also, fueled by TACO POWER, I pained ALL THE STUFF and then went home. Today, I reward myself with beer.
one time i went to my hometown to visit a few friends and install carpet in their house, called my mom (because she made the best tacos) and asked her to make me some tacos and bring them too me. she said give me an hour. i thought she was gonna just bring me tacos, buuuuttt, an hour later she came with a big pan full of homemade individually wrapped tacos (like 20 or so) for my friends and I. you know the kind when you're done eating, you're wiping the flour off your hands. she was kinda disgruntled when she noticed we were all there drinking at 10:30am, but that's another story. so i know your feeling.
There's nothing wrong with drinking at 10:30 am! Hell, when I was unemployed, I sometimes had wine instead of coffee! That said, there's a couple who live in my apartment complex who make fresh tamales and sell them for $1.25 each. That was the BEST part of my period of joblessness. But now that I'm back to work, they sell them while I'm at the shop.
Those were the BEST tamales I've ever had. Also, the word "BEST" shall always be capitalized........apparently. ...I want tamales.- Status
