I have been building 1.6ohm microcoils and using cotton as a wick. With clear juices like blue voodoo and gray matter I dont seem to have any issues. I can vape two or more tanks an when i check my wick it is just slightly off color at the point of contact in the coil. However using a dark juice i cant make it a quarter tank before the cotton is scorched and falling apart. For example, last night i put in new cotton and filled up with AiV 15 foot falls. At first the taste was great but by morning it was disgusting. I pulled it all apart and sure enough the cotton was so burned that it basically crumbled when pullin it out. I was wondering what you guys would recommend for this thing when using darker juices?

I don't think color is the issue. It sounds to me like whatever build you have in there now is too hot for that juice. It sounds like you need one build for that juice and another build for the other. Also some times if a juice he juice is more sugary, it will burn hot, crust up the wick and deteriorate it.
