The taifun 2 does not seem like it needs a slot airflow, it's got a great draw out of the box. I used a friend's and it's amazing.

Welp. It'll depend on your personal preference, no?

Stock, the TGT II is waaaaaay too tight for any form of lung inhale.

Absolutely personal preference.

I've used a clone tgt2, no clue who was the manufacture, and with it wide open its easy lung hit... IMO

Got my Hotcig TGT II S from FT today, yes removable deck TGT II , this came with an extra glass tank liner. The tank liners are of the thin variety. I have never seen a TGT II clone this well done. the edges of the cutouts in the ss tank are not sharp like other ones. The post's sleeves are right size for the screws, chamber is tight enough. Chamber cap fits better than others, more adjustment like the original.

I might have to order one of those lol.. I have tried so many other rtas, but I love the taifun.

I am having a problem with one of mine thought. If I remove it from the battery a few times, the resistance shoots up from 1.5 to 1.9 to 2.9 etc.. So I have to take a screw driver and screw it in and back out. I don't know what's causing it. I have an mvp with a spring positive pin so it's not like it's pushing down on it hard or anything. I've replaced the screw with no result.

Which one was the "S"? was it the one they claimed was not?

On the Hotcig TGTII S, I advise to not remove the o-ring that goes inside the base that seals the removable deck to the base. It took me the better part of an hour to get it back in. I'm not saying how till it "comes up" but it's pretty simple really.
I decided to go ahead and put a build in it, I used the air reducer, vapes great. 0.9Ω, 9 wraps Kanthal, 2mm id, rayon.

What I do, to prevent leaking, is run a small piece of cotton to the bottom inside the deck, so that any fluid that leaks down goes back up to the wick to be burned off. You can cut a small piece off and run it down, or twist up a little piece and lay it on top of the juice flow hole and run it to the bottom.

dwcraig, in your short time with the hotcig one, would you say it's much better than the other one you liked before? ($25 one from FT)

Also, just a general question- there shouldn't be any issues with buying just the TGTII base from FT and replacing everything else from my TGT's. Basically making all my taifuns on my desk have nice airflow :)

The HotCig version is on par with the original IMO, there is no problem with the interchange but that base is from one of the lesser priced ones.

I'm not sure when I might get a video up for installing the o-ring inside the base so here is the basic run of it:

You'll need the cap from a regular sized Sharpie. Get the o-ring in about 80% with the loop that "just won't go in" facing up. Insert Sharpie cap's open end into the base, this will keep what is already in the groove in place. Next use a small flat bladed screwdriver and carefully press that loop sticking up down into the groove. This is real easy and takes less than a minute.
My advise is to just leave it in there till you need to take it out.

Just keep in mind that for black o-rings you must use the cap from a black Sharpie and for the red o-rings you use the cap from a red Sharpie, this is most important....ya right.

So at the last minute before I headed to work as I was packing my vape stuff I switched atties on a couple of mods (TGT II's).So I'm here at work vaping one of them on a Sigelei 100 watt box when I look down at the display and see it says 0.2 ohm. DUH, it was a ni200 build, my dna's read it as 0.14 ohm but it was working just fine.
It did not however work as good asit does on the DNA equipped mod but did work well.

That's hilarious. In the not too distant past, that would have been a disaster. such a specialty coil... But Here we are today, no big deal... It's just a super sub ohm coil, it'll fire... No temp control or anything, but it'll fire. LOL

I got my TGT II (Hotcig version) and the AFC ring spins a little to easily does yours do the same? Do you know if the red O rings will make it better? Do you know what size will make it a little tighter on turning?

So far I am loving the TGT II, it's airier than my drilled out TGT with I think 7/32" hole. I might have to open the holes up and see what it will be like, was there a big difference when you opened up the holes?

Thanks in advance.
