And for the life of me I can't figure out why, but for 2mm ID coil I comb out a piece of 12 strand hemp thread so they are straight and remove one strand so I have 11 strands. Then I just thread it thru the coil and cut it ~2-3mm outside the chamber. No flooding????

If I do it like gdeal after the hemp is expanded it gets restricted and I get dry hits????

I use 50/50 juice and gdeal uses 80vg/20pg (I believe)....which should probably only make this more skewed.

The only other difference I can think of is elevation. I'm at about 4,500' where gdeal is close to sea level???

Elevation shouldn't make that much of a difference, I'm vaping at 15W, so my tank juice gets warm and loses viscosity, so it cant be that.

OK...I just pulled the folded over wick (kept my upside down U pieces), so I have a single 12 strand hemp thread in the slots. I dont get all out flooding, but I am getting big-time gurlges. I have the airflow at 1.5mm, so I dont think its a difference in vacuum created by the inhale. Unless I am just suckin too hard??? :

Maybe its just the difference in the way we uberized the hemp in the cleaning process?

Interesting. I've got perfection, for me, using the same build I use in my Kayfuns. Single piece of cotton ball wick. It's hard for me to put the GT down.

GREAT pictorial gdeal!!! Thanks! I see what bap is saying. I would think the double over would choke the wick. I've only used foggers though. Have a Taifun on the way. The ports on the Taifun must be bigger than those on a Fogger?

I am not sure why Bap get different results than me. But thats the beauty of this design. If you want to tweak the juice barrier going into the atty (more wick/less wick material), you just flip it over and unscrew the tank and add or subtract.

The slots are much bigger in the Taifun. About 2mm across and 3mm high (slightly adjustable with the top cap).

If you like the fogger, you are gonna love the Taifun.

Nice! I figure if I get the Taifun I won't have to mod it. Is that the hard ceramic? AOi think it's called? I haven't tried that in anything yet

I have removed the draw tube, using it without one, as stated in an earlier post this has changed it to my liking also.

I don't know what the difference is in shipping but smokerstore.de has the rebuild kits and o-rings as well. They drop VAT so it should be a bit cheaper or a lot cheaper in the case of an actual Taifun GT.
