Taifun GT Discusion!

The stainless tank will fit either a GT1 or GT2. I'm not sure what a "ST tuners tank" is... If you don't mind me asking, what did you trade them? I saw ST and thought that meant subtank (as in kanger subtank).

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to that ST bell cap, looks fantastic.

I also just picked up an XS Tank from our favorite RTA guru, the plan being to make it my errand runner, as my Dicodes 2380 shipped out today and should be here in a few days...as you can see, match made in heaven with the 2380 in 350 mode

Has anyone noticed a difference in temp when going "stumpy"? I know that in the Rose the difference was really apparent. I did not like the Rose in stumpy mode. It got too hot.

Well, my Taifun has never really got very warm in general, even chain vaping, so I can't imagine it would be like the Rose (I don't have a Stumpy, but my v2 can still get fairly warm).

I've got no idea, lol, it won't be here until Wednesday.

I'll take a spare wth me if needed, 1600mah should be enough for short drives about town

If I drop wattage and use power boost it'll save a little extra too

dang, 19? kinda an odd size. I wish the flash-e was slimmer and was hoping this one might work on my Pics and GUS16

The Taifun GS is 16? but its got that odd shape. Even the Flash-e slim is better looking but still odd

I thought it was 17 at its widest point? I know it's like 14/15 at the base though, it slims out.

Perhaps the GS2 slims out to 16/17.

BTW, the FeV vs looks good on 16mm mods, because the knurling might be 17, but the rest slims inwards to 16, so it actually fits nicely

Taifun users, I'm not sure where to ask but this seems like the place for this type of wicking. I'm using rayon, do you all have enough wick to cover the side holes? You see how I have a gap? It's working great, but I'm wanting to perfect the build here...

No, I tightened the barrel cap down a bit after the pic. I'm talking about where the wick comes out and presses against the tank bud, does that channel need to be covered with rayon?

Oh, you mean does wick need to touch the tank? No, I cut mine just about flush
