Taifun GS2 is LIVE LIVE LIVE

GS2 + dripper cap + a few packs of PTFE feeders are on the way *high five*

GT2 has been a favorite of mine since the day I got it, the GS2 looks like it's going to be another winner too.

BTW, the cotton donuts are scheduled to be available in the near future from SmokerStore in the near future, just a heads up (obviously you can use regular cotton, ptfe, or mesh to feed instead)

The cotton doughnuts should be easy enough to make, though thru trial and error. If you are cleaver you could order one set and then make a paper templet and make them yourself after with pads of KGD.

I am just perplexed by the on going burning hits from my TGT2's. Does not happen with the TGT1 or the one that came out in the middle of the two. Did Craig call it as GS? Anyway....
I thought I needed to dremel out the wick slots but they are the same size on the 2 as they are on the 1. Did not change it because I do not want a leaking problem
I use mostly 50/50.
Could it be because I made bigger coils on the 2's?
I used to only use .70 bit and make a 1.5-1.7 coil.
I started using a bigger bit 2.4 (ish) because I thought I was supposed to with TGT2 due to more air flow.
Any advice?
That cloned Taifun Gt with the 2 mm air way it called GT-S.
I would try the smaller coil like what you put into the GT 1 and see how that works out first. You can use the bigger coil/wick but the wick needs to be thinned down where it passes through the slots when using the stock sleeve.

I tried this on mine also and so far so good. Lubed the o-ring in the top cap with e-juice and tightened the crap out of it.

I'll report back after a couple more tanks.

I've put a few tanks thru now and no longer leaking. Simply lubing o-ring and uber tightening the top cap seems to have done the trick!

Are the channels on the TGT2 (clones) the same size? 2mm? Did you enlarge yours?

The standard size wick slots is around 2 mm, there are some clones with even smaller (TGT1's).
Yes I enlarged the wick slots on all my TGT 2's as well as my TGT-S to 3.2 - 3.5 mm. and use coils with 2.5 mm ID with them.

There seems to be an error in the listing of parts for the GS2, pictured is bottom AFC ring, it says it's the bottom one.
But surely it's the three groove top one as three groove on a bottom one would serve no purpose. Besides it only pictures two.
Taifun GSII bottom ring with 3 grooves - SmokerStore GmbH

Also would somebody measure the ID of the chimney tube and post it?

When I purchased my GS2, it said upper 1 slot abs upper 3 slot, not sure where the bottom error is occurring, weird.

Of course, I didn't know which MNW came stock, because in the review he was running the 3 slot upper, so I didn't bother with guessing, lol. I contacted them to see if I could add the three slot to my order [emoji14]

Edit: I see, when you click to English on the site, it's coming up bottom. I just roll with German and let Google Chrome translate, in which case it is properly labeled upper ;)

Hey there
Hoping Craig is around
Friend of mine just bought this:
$12.63 GT-T V2 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (5.0mL) - stainless steel + glass / 23mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
She says the glass is floating around inside and she thinks she is missing an Oring. Can you recollect what size that is?
By the way I did change all my coils back to .70 and no more burning hits. I think I get it, 2mm slot has to have under 2mm wick,,,DUH
Thanks
For the clones it's 19 x 1 mm for the bottom and 20 x 1 mm for the top. (except HotCig). For original TGT 2 and Hotcig clone it's 19 x 1 mm both top and bottom.

Hi Guys, I am looking to try the TGT for the first time but I don't know which is which. My norm is to get a clone for the first and then if it is superior for me, to consider an authentic or 3.

But, what is the newest of the series? I like a rebuildable TA with a 4.5ml tank or more. Can someone send me a link or FT item number?

Thank-you.

Edit: Is the GS just a clearish tank for the GT2?

Parts and assembly are at the bottom of the manual for the original. Clones may differ:

Fasttech has several clones of the Taifun GT V2, which is the latest full size.

This is a highly rated one:
$23.51 GT-T V2 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (5.0mL) - stainless steel + matte PC / 23mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I bought this one and am very happy with:
$12.63 GT-T V2 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (5.0mL) - stainless steel + glass / 23mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Look at either of those and use the drop down menu on FT and you will see tons of parts that you can pair with your GT V2 (nano tanks, bell caps, tops caps, replacement bases and chimneys... you can build your own style if you wish).

Have fun.

That's me! Thank you chanel! I have just read about the last 25 pages of this thread and now following. I also bought several bases and acrylic tanks from Fasttech that have already been posted and I am loving them!!

If I may ask, where to people get these o rings? I have looked at several sites but just can't seem to decipher the sizes and width of the rings. I just don't want to deal with Fasttech for a missing o ring.... chanel said she would send me some (so generous!!), but I would like to know for future reference.

Thanks!
