When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,
A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well they'd be singing so happily,
Joyfully, playfully watching me.
But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible,
Logical, responsible, practical.
And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,
Clinical, intellectual, cynical.
And then you woke up. Lol

Mesh or Ptfe or cotton?
Started with the PTFE and it came out like a river. Tried the cotton donut and couldn't get any flow. Have just a cotton wick in there and it's now got very little flow. lol. Thinking about running some cotton loosely through the PTFE. Perhaps I just need more cotton in the coil.

The ptffe is working well for me. I just make sure it is pressed down in the holes of the top cap as far as possible and make sure the wick has some good shoulders to make full contact with the tubes.

I sold a LOT things to justify this MOD. A lot of firsts here. Getting used to it. But no buyers regrets... so far. Oh, and the Taifun looks great on it

I was almost ready to give up on using Ti in a TGT II with temperature control because I just couldn't seem to get it to work very good. Hey but I kept after it and what got it working good was getting to coil closer to the air hole than I had done on previous builds, that was by having the legs roll off the top of the coil instead of under it.
I can pretty much figure all those Kanthal build would have benefited by this as well, I shall try it when the time comes.
I didn't seems to have much problems using Ni200 so it kind of stumped me for a while.

Just in case anyone is having flooding or inconsistency this is how I was trying to explain on an earlier post. I found this on the FB page, its in German but you can still see what I mean about folding/ wadding as they describe it.

I found this after I had been playing around so I dont really claim to be the one that thought of it first, or read about it, but here it is. Works great everytime.

I almost tried the wicking style in the above video but thought i should just make one change at a time. I made another coil for the TGT II that's on my Eye mod, with the legs rolling off the top and it works quite a bit better. I always made them the other way and pushed them down some (not far enough). Now I pull them up, seems easier to mount this way as well as working better. Old habits die hard I guess.
I shall try that method on the next build though.

Meh. I can't get the TGT II to work consistently and reliably with Ni200 builds. :/

What aspect of it isn't working out for you? Ohms changing?
I have to occasionally remove the 510 screw and clean the threads. I squeeze it with my fingers in paper towel and spin it with a screwdriver.
