Gee, been kind of quiet in here. Either all the Taifun's are working real good or they have been abandoned.
Mine are still chugging along, made some major improvements with my wicking with the help of Evolv's EScribe software. It pretty much just involves less wick in the chamber slots. GS2 clone almost here, post about that soon. good or bad.

Yeap, Im hoping that its because they are all happy using their Taifuns. Maybe some are waiting for the new GSIII or big size. Been selling some things to justify the GSIII. I promised myself that Im done buying because Im so happy with what I have...

I said if I do get something new I have to sell something to justify it. I just dont like having things sitting in boxes. I do love my Taifuns...

Love my TGTII also. I recently bought a TGTII-S by Hotcig thinking that S meant Short. But it turned out identical to the TGTII except for a glass tank on the S.
The five little air holes give slightly more air than the original GT but they don't whistle, which is a big plus for me.

You are aware that the deck unscrews from the base on the "S" aren't you, needs to be screwed in tightly too.

I am a happy owner of Hotcig clone GT-T v2. The only problem - a bit of leaking, about 2 drops a day. Not much, but compared to my Kayfuns 4 (about 2 drops a week) a lot. juice sits in between bottom of tank and a mod. I suspected it leaks because of some defect of wicking. My theory was that juice slowly comes to the openings of air holes and due to capillary action between tank body and an air regulation ring goes to the bottom of a tank. So, I have tried to vape with air regulation ring removed, but there still was some juice present under the body of a tank; less than with ring on, but still it was there.
Any thoughts and advises?
Can it be leaking around 510 pin?

EDIT: I rewick it about once a month, so it was rewicked 4 times. I have not noticed any difference in leaking.

Is it the Hotcig GT II-S ?, if so be sure to have the deck screwed into the base pretty tight. Make sure the 4 x 1 mm o-ring on the chimney tube it going far enough into the chamber cap to seal and is in good condition. If not going in far enough pull chamber up farther. As far as wicks being the problem try adding a couple small pieces of wick onto the existing wick where it passes through the chamber's slots till your sure it's more than enough and see if it still leaks, if it does still leak look else where for the problem.

Got my Shenray TGS2 today. Are you folks using those plastic feeder tubes or mesh? Its bathing right now, but want to build it in an hour or so. Might try a ti build.

I tried the plastic and got too much liquid flowing and bit of leaks. Then I put some mesh in the plastic and it worked perfect... Since then I went all mesh on the tubes and like it.

Hotcig GSII landed this morning, Build quality is slightly better then the Shenray, not much though. However for those that don't like logos on clones, the Hotcig is probably for you, mine arrived with no logos, no serial. Box is pretty sweet, seems sturdy, made it all the way from china in a padded envelope without being smashed . Think I'll order that 22mm Shenray next!

I would've preferred no logo, but that's ok.

BTW, why is Taifun allowing logos on the v2s when they stopped it on the v1s?
It's the advertising of clones that has the logo removed. And name too.
My Hotcig GS2 will be here tomorrow, I paid the $1 extra to ship in a box to protect the fancy box.
