I would say that the GT2, GS and Flash-e and my Phenoms are equal in taste. As far as easiest atty, the Flash-e beats them. So easy to see if your coil is clean, Great air ( I use it without the screw ) easy to fill without taking apart. ITs not the purdiest, but it has a certain industrial elegance.

The GT2 took me about 4 rewicks to get it perfect. I find no tails out of the chamber, wicks rolled inside with high shoulders and mesh straws resting snug, but not tight on the shoulders is perfect. I leave about .75 mm hole inside the mesh straws for my almost all vg juice.

It holds actually 5mls and the short or chopped tank setup is more compact but still holds 4mls.

Phenom is the most aesthetically pleasing but it has its little quirks, but its not hard nor does it take long to get used to it and taste is great.
TGT2 is a pleasure to use, looks great, but the dialing in of the juice control takes a few times to get the right amount of space to let in enough liquid and not too much. If it had an adjustable JC that could be done on the fly and not open, it would be the perfect large tank. It also does not actually hold 5mls like it says, more like 4ish.

Those are my opinions and Im weird. Flavour is most important and all 4 of these are wonderful in taste. Flash-e is the most airy, but taste is still just as good

Thanks for your initial review :D Did you happen to get the piece that allows more air for it? Taifun GSL - obere AFC Ring mit drei Nuten - SmokerStore GmbH - Ihr Spezialist für e-Zigaretten und Zubehör in NRW I'm not saying you should get it, but I'm wondering if you have it installed? :) Thanks in advance mam :D

Its interesting how we all have different perspectives. I ditched my FeVs for the TGS2s.

My list would go: Rose v2, Phenomenon Lite, Aqua v2, Lemo, Epoch d1. And I would have to throw in the Cthulhu now as well with the dual claptons. Who knew, but I love that thing now.

It sounds as if you do indeed have it cross threaded.
No, actually I don't. It's seems to want to cross-thread. So, I stop and try again. It's so far been unwilling to thread onto the base.

The top-cap seems like it may be too short for the base.

What I was wondering is if anyone has tried these 2 items and might know if there are any known problems or known solutions. If not, carry on.

Ohh. I forgot the Rose. Excellent flavor.

How can one forget the Rose?:D

I hold it responsible for my out of control RTA problem. It was my third RTA. And I've been on a quest ever since to find all the other gems the world has to offer :).

The funny ones for me are the ones I didn't think I wanted or wasn't thrilled with at first.

Epoch d1. I wasn't interested even though a friend was trying to talk me into us both getting one. Then someone else who I share a lot of favorites with PMed me that I should try it. So I did. What a great little dual coil tank. And sadly its never caught on. Its inexpensive, very easy to coil and wick, and rather attractive, too.

Ubertoot (though I only have clones). I got the first a few days before Uber Tuesday. Unfortunately I thought it was pretty blah and overhyped. Only after I lost out on the opportunity for an authentic did I try dual stacked coils and fell in love with it. Oh well, I still get to enjoy it.

Aromamizer. I was excited for this one, but it was pretty lame at first with a straight up dual coil build, and I was disappointed. After some thought, I put quad verticals in it and cranked up the power, and fell in love with it also. I'm waiting on my second one now.

Nectar. Another a friend wanted to try, but I was skeptical. And the Urba came out so we decided to try that instead. It was nicer looking, and less money. Well, Nectar clones appeared very cheaply so I said what the heck, for $9, I'll try it. Love this thing and want the authentic now.

Cthulhu. Pris generously sent it to me. And it was good. I liked it well enough. Decided I wanted to try making Claptons a couple weeks ago, and I put them in this. OMG!! This is amazing. Its hard to put down.

I have a buddy with those exact pieces. The shield really doesn't click into place that well and when you screw on the tank it will turn the chimney, but he has no issue with the threads. You might want to check them on your base, as a small burr will strip out a PMMA tanks threads in seconds. I picked up a KFL base from FT and it did require Dremel work to remove the burrs and some of the razor sharp edges.

Open a ticket with Support, you might have received a defective base or tank. I always order two or three tanks on something like that.

Here are the latest RTA's for a long while, sorry for the bad phone picture.

KS RTA, K.Loud, GSII and Aqua 2.
Newest RTA's.jpg

I didn't realize the juice control and airflow control on the Aqua 2 are one in the same. I don't know if that will be a boon or a disaster looking to happen. Anyhow she is setup with dual 26g coils @ 0.4 ohms and no issue wicking, lots of practice with the Silverplay V1.

The Rose are still my top favorite followed by the FeV's and KF4's.

Alright, finally got a chance to set this baby up. Its been a long , hot, humid miserable day full of errands and apts. My nerves were shattered.

I finally got home, wined down, had some coffee, a long hard vape. Finally got my nerves steady. Washed and dried. Cut the mesh ( 1cm by 6 and a bit cm rolled around a .75 bit), made a coil 2.9ish? diameter), built it like in this video:

So far so good. I find that the I usually have to go thru about a tank till the taste on the mesh mellows to neutral. I think the flaming of it creates a "taste" .

I only use the air control on the lower AFC and its airy with all holes , so dialed it back to 3. HATED the drip tip, its bigger and just awful to me. Slapped on one of favorites and much better.

So far its good. No dry hits, and Im putting it thru my "tests" to make sure it does not seep or flood.

I love the looks, easy to build. It does 5ml with no problem.

Took a couple picts. The wick holes are the same size as my GSII. I think they did just make it bigger but since they did not have the actual GSL they forgot to adjust the wick holes. No big deal as Roxy found, she just doubled the amount of mesh.

Its sitting on my GP X and looks great. I will take a more formal photo shoot tomorrow. Its too dang hot and humid to set up a proper camera. iPhone will have to do. I hope this helps someone out there. Im not the best reviewer or "teacher"

Some photos from when my GSL arrived yesterday. It's an exceptional vape, lots of flavour and good throat hit. The GSL is amazing, simply amazing. I love this atty

The GSL came in a nice wooden presentation box
Inside the box, spare O rings, the atty and lots of wood shavings

It's such a hard toss up. The FlashEVapor doesn't have the looks but it's really what I was going to buy before the Taifun GSL came out. Now I want them both LOL, but I'm only going to get one

You can replace that nectar with ease with a Le Magister :D It's serious business. It caught my attention from dems86. I thought to myself "It don't look like much" but when I put it on my mod I was stunned by it's flavor. I mean stunned :ohmy: It has incredible flavor and I mean incredible. To make the flavor even better Oughtvapes has a reducer for it. I found it quite by accident because nobody had mentioned it on this site. I put it on and Oh Nelly. It takes it right out of the park. The funny thing is that it only uses a 5 wrap 2mm coil and it blows clouds like a taifun. But them clouds are warm and stocked full of the essence of your juice. Le Magister RTA by Vaponaute The reducer I found on Oughtvape

The K-Loud +G is no joke either. I purchased it out of boredom and boy does it produce the flavor. My only gripe with it is it only has a 1ML tank but It's 1ML of pure bliss.

Those 2 atomizers I just mentioned could easily produce flavor with the best of them. Both have reducers per se and they are both very warm flavorful vapes like the rose without that darn ceramic cup. Are they better. I can't say because flavor is subjective :) But they are just as good as some of the best flavor atomizers I have used.

Thank you very much for the great pics :D That is one of the most beautiful atomizers I have ever seen. I may have to pass on the Flash E-Vapor until next time. I can't help it, I'm smitten by her beauty. I also love the box it comes in. Very classy!

I can't believe I had to be reminded to check the tank without the chimney on! Thank you.

So, it's not the tank or threads. Once I confirmed the tank was alright, I looked around for something else and discovered that the chimney is crooked. It's slight, but enough that the tank isn't lining up straight either (since the chimney isn't).

The tank fits my Taifun GT just fine. So, I can use it on that base if I just really want to use the shorter, clear tank.

But, the GT-T V2 base is trash. The chimney is crooked, and neither tank will screw onto it.

Well, it may not be totally trash if I can find a way to level out the bottom edge of the chimney where it's that tiny bit to tall.

Yes I have tried to explain this before but was not successful. I use these all the time. You just have to push your chamber and cap down a little lower than usual
If you force it down the chamber will turn and the wick will disappear into the chamber.

I just tried again. Maybe I'm not strong enough. I've pushed and pushed.

I know. When my grandson gets home, I'll have him try it. He can get a lot of things to work that I just don't have the strength to do.

I'll let you know.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I was off emptying most of my Inbox. Did they suddenly lower the limits of the Inbox or something?

I have Le Magister :). Running dual verticals for my first build. Pretty good atty.
