The SXK Squape Rs is a serious daily driver for me right now simple to build and excellent flavor. The filling is similar to the Rose V2 so I don't have a problem with a regular juice bottle filling it. If I could only have two RTAs to use and that would be it, one would be the Squape Rs and the other would be the Flash e-Vapor V3 with the glass tank kit. The FeV is the absolute easiest RTA to use, fill and maintain available.
The Gem...
I fought for 3 days to get that thing not to dry hit, finally managed to get the wicking sort of right and it doesn't dry hit anymore. It top fill's like the ErlK and I always have to invert it and blow out juice just like top filling a KFL. This is another issue related to my wicking that I have not perfected yet. The build deck is MINISCULE and the clearance from the roof of the chamber to the coil screws is really tiny.
They say how amazing the flavor is on the GEM, this I have yet to experience. Others have had no problem wicking it right from the start so YMMV.
What does he insulator area of the SXK squape look like? I have a terrible clone and they sent a replacement base which is even worse than the first. This is an example of an expensive clone that I basically have to throw away. Or spend another $30 on. That's $65 on a crap clone. I even bought the white deck and the insulator inserts and it still won't even register. That was my first and last experience with 3fvape. They were absolutely awful. I'd really appreciate any advice on how to fix this now without spending more money. If I buy another SXK base I seriously may have just bought a used squape.
Gem wicking is really tough imo. It works better in temp control where you can overstuff the center. Mm what I do is pack it as tight with cotton as I can the make a sort of u with the wick and cut it level with the top of the screws.
Did you get an authentic or clone. I ask because I'm curious how good the clone is.
I just posted on fasttech asking about the fev 3. I was considering grabbing one. Any suggestions on which to get?
I've always wanted to try a rose and erlk. Which of the three do you prefer and can you point me towards the one to try on fasttech? I have a hard time figuring out which of the x many available
Is the best to go with especially for the fev3
If you fill the gem more than 90% you're going to have to blow it out. Every time. It's even in the instructions on the mark bugs site.
Look I'm genuinely sorry this whole debate even kicked off. All I was saying was I had bad luck buying clones for this particular model so I bought an authentic. That's it. Also buying second hand hardly does support the original manufacturers. I have to say it opened my eyes to a few things. I would never buy anything from smoker store.de. They're a terrible vendor into. And ive had other problems talk with authentics and manufacturers. So the worse I get treated by authentic makers the more I'll look
To clones. As it is now I take it on a case by case basis.
The for another example. The kabuki I bought I've had excellent support from house of hybrids even after zen and I were busy yelling at each other across a thread.
No one is making a version of the piccoloid that's not GP as far as I know. That's the setup that interests me he most. Very few people
Seem interested in properly small Setups build for
Flavor right now. I know a few requests have been put in.
For me. I'll buy a good clone. I'll buy w good authentic. I'll just buy good vape gear. I'm really sorry that my pointing out a bad experience with two copies of the taifun gt2 caused a kerfuffle. I'm certainly not a guy standing in a tower of stainless made from $10,000 worth of authentics condemning clones. I just never found a. Good one for the taifun gt2 even after buying the one everyone seems to love.
Anyway id love to go back and undo the whole discussion if I could. I'd rather focus on the gt2 and others. I'd like to know for those of you who believe the gt2 offers great flavor. What else you use that you also enjoy and what if anything you've found is better.
I'm also a fan of the tobeco Aqua v2. The base can get really hot. I don't know if that's due to the design of the aqua or if it's he type of steel used. Can anyone opine on that? I build single coil and once you get the wicking right that tank can be a great tank for flavor. It's slightly annoying to have to block the spare two juice channels.
Sorry for the typos this morning. I'm trying to go back and finish them. My arm is crazy numb.
