The SXK Squape Rs is a serious daily driver for me right now simple to build and excellent flavor. The filling is similar to the Rose V2 so I don't have a problem with a regular juice bottle filling it. If I could only have two RTAs to use and that would be it, one would be the Squape Rs and the other would be the Flash e-Vapor V3 with the glass tank kit. The FeV is the absolute easiest RTA to use, fill and maintain available.

The Gem...
I fought for 3 days to get that thing not to dry hit, finally managed to get the wicking sort of right and it doesn't dry hit anymore. It top fill's like the ErlK and I always have to invert it and blow out juice just like top filling a KFL. This is another issue related to my wicking that I have not perfected yet. The build deck is MINISCULE and the clearance from the roof of the chamber to the coil screws is really tiny.

They say how amazing the flavor is on the GEM, this I have yet to experience. Others have had no problem wicking it right from the start so YMMV.

What does he insulator area of the SXK squape look like? I have a terrible clone and they sent a replacement base which is even worse than the first. This is an example of an expensive clone that I basically have to throw away. Or spend another $30 on. That's $65 on a crap clone. I even bought the white deck and the insulator inserts and it still won't even register. That was my first and last experience with 3fvape. They were absolutely awful. I'd really appreciate any advice on how to fix this now without spending more money. If I buy another SXK base I seriously may have just bought a used squape.

Gem wicking is really tough imo. It works better in temp control where you can overstuff the center. Mm what I do is pack it as tight with cotton as I can the make a sort of u with the wick and cut it level with the top of the screws.

Did you get an authentic or clone. I ask because I'm curious how good the clone is.

I just posted on fasttech asking about the fev 3. I was considering grabbing one. Any suggestions on which to get?

I've always wanted to try a rose and erlk. Which of the three do you prefer and can you point me towards the one to try on fasttech? I have a hard time figuring out which of the x many available
Is the best to go with especially for the fev3

If you fill the gem more than 90% you're going to have to blow it out. Every time. It's even in the instructions on the mark bugs site.

Look I'm genuinely sorry this whole debate even kicked off. All I was saying was I had bad luck buying clones for this particular model so I bought an authentic. That's it. Also buying second hand hardly does support the original manufacturers. I have to say it opened my eyes to a few things. I would never buy anything from smoker store.de. They're a terrible vendor into. And ive had other problems talk with authentics and manufacturers. So the worse I get treated by authentic makers the more I'll look
To clones. As it is now I take it on a case by case basis.

The for another example. The kabuki I bought I've had excellent support from house of hybrids even after zen and I were busy yelling at each other across a thread.

No one is making a version of the piccoloid that's not GP as far as I know. That's the setup that interests me he most. Very few people
Seem interested in properly small Setups build for
Flavor right now. I know a few requests have been put in.

For me. I'll buy a good clone. I'll buy w good authentic. I'll just buy good vape gear. I'm really sorry that my pointing out a bad experience with two copies of the taifun gt2 caused a kerfuffle. I'm certainly not a guy standing in a tower of stainless made from $10,000 worth of authentics condemning clones. I just never found a. Good one for the taifun gt2 even after buying the one everyone seems to love.

Anyway id love to go back and undo the whole discussion if I could. I'd rather focus on the gt2 and others. I'd like to know for those of you who believe the gt2 offers great flavor. What else you use that you also enjoy and what if anything you've found is better.

I'm also a fan of the tobeco Aqua v2. The base can get really hot. I don't know if that's due to the design of the aqua or if it's he type of steel used. Can anyone opine on that? I build single coil and once you get the wicking right that tank can be a great tank for flavor. It's slightly annoying to have to block the spare two juice channels.

Sorry for the typos this morning. I'm trying to go back and finish them. My arm is crazy numb.

Does anyone know if this is accurate info for the GT IIs from Hotcig.
It is with the exception of two missing o-rings, one that seals the deck and base and one very small one on the bottom of the disc that the small 510 screw (A7) threads into.

I would have to break the Squape Rs down, which insulator do you mean?

I picked up the First version of the Gem from FT it is the one with the short 510 pin. I'll try the 90% only fill and see how I make out with it.

I have two Tobeco Rose V2's and they are excellent quality, MTL only and cannot be modified for more air. A good deal from Vaporider on them right now.
Rose V2 Rebuildable Tank Atomizer – Tobeco | VapoRider

The FeV V3 I picked up was from Focalecig, it was the SS316 version that is no longer available, here are the choices I gave some one else who asked about the Flashi. ;)

This is the reported best of the V3 clones.
focalecig.com - Flash e-Vapor V3 Styled Rebuildable Atomizer by Hotcig - Silver

Here is the Glass Kit for it.
focalecig.com - Flash e Vapor V3 Glass Tank- Silver by Hotcig

Here is a complete FeV V2 kit with Dripper mod and long tank etc...
focalecig.com - Flash e-Vapor V2 Style 23.2mm Diameter 18650 Rebuildable Atomizer - Silver

And a V3 with Glass Kit already installed from FT, but I do not know the quality of it.
$20.73 Flash e-Vape V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 4.5ml / stainless steel + glass / 23mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I have no experience with the ErlK so I can't comment. If you do pick up a Rose V2 and don't like it, then drop me a PM me for sure as I love the Rose.

Sorry Links are broken from copy, I'll fix them up after I get home.
Thanks for all the info. I doubt is buy an authentic rose given the difficulties people report with building. The last thing I need is a finicky tank! Still want a heads up if I get a clone? I need to find the right clone to test I think

Umm I know we have covered this in the last few days (I might have been asleep) but where to buy a good couple of clones? I did get two at that 50% sale and wish I would have got four.
Now after all the spouting off I have done regarding no problems with mine I have two that are giving me problems.

Thank you for the info, I will be adding to my o-ring collection. I just recieved 4 more Hotcig GT IIs, just love these things, now have 16 and 20 of various other Tobeco who knows clones. I think I am set except for o-rings, thanks DWCraig and everyone else here. My Super T mods and varous clones and my stock piled nic should grt me by.

I word of warning: if you remove the o-ring that's inside the base that seals against the deck it's a real bugger to get back in. I worked with mine for at least an hour then used a "tool" to assist. That "tool" is the open end of a standard Sharpie cap. I think I posted this way back.
The Sharpie cap is used to hold the o-ring in it's groove while you push the last little bit of it into it's groove.

I can't see you having any problems with the Tobeco Rose V2 clone. They do have a little learning curve to build because of the coil location.

Mount the coil in the cup, wire down through the holes and tighten the grub screws.

Pull your Rayon or Cotton through the coil.

Split it between the juice channels.

Trim flush, juice up the coil and wick.

Fill the tank, install and enjoy.

Elaborate Please.
Never has it said "departed ISC San Francisco before, only excepted by USPS San Francisco after ISC was done with it. It's at the same place just a different end of the convener belt. But the way they worded it "inbound outbound"

please keep us updated, the same thing happened to me when I ordered some high CBD strain seeds from England. Seems customs is working overtime.

Nowadays they are checking all packages that probably look suspicious from europe. Mine had green tape on outside of package letting me know ji had been opened and inspected, Then a little official form letter inside. The package arrived , but without the contents. You will most likey recieve your mail O.K. but it will have green tape and most likely lokked at. Just a little surprising that they can check so much of our mail, if the ban or vapocalypse occurs, lookout, youu may not get your order 90 % of the time.

I've had a good 200 packages go through customs and I know of none being physically inspected (opened)
But there's anyways a first.
None of my fastec packages have been opened either, but my package of 4 seeds from England were found and confiscated out of all the packages coming through the system. Just makes you think, if a ban on ecigs does occur, seems like they do have the resources to inflict some serious siezures. My wife has some pretty serious medical issues, that was the only reason I was trying to procure a certain item.

I spent quite a bit of time with my GSL this morning. One of the things I did was to shorten the height of the air tube in the deck's center, another was to wrap the coil with the legs rolling off the top so I could mount the coil lower. I believe it would be just fine to not even install the tube. Been using it exclusively today.
The goal was to get the coil closer to the well's bottom (shorter wicks)

I'm not sure I understand "shorten the height of the air tube"

Are you talking about the tube on the top cap? You physically modified it? Or just mounted your coil as close to the lower air port?

(sorry, I feel very silly asking this, I'm a little brain dead tonight and I'm sure the answer is straight forward)
