I got my Twisted Kanthal, KGD, Rayon (for decades), batteries, (7) Box mod's, (2) Tube mod's, Other Atomizers to trade for more Taifun's, a song in my heart.

I'm ready. How bout Ya'll ??

Yes following the news on the regs and it is a scary time for sure. The good news so far is that they are not changing the grandfather date. It is still so soon to really know anything and it will change so much between now and the new 2-3 years. I did order 4 more Taifuns and I plan to order another 2 liter of Nic

I almost ordered some mixing supplies, not because they won't (?) be available but I figure there is going to be a mad dash by many and they will sell out. I'm good on my nic for at least a year so I'll wait.
Not sure if I'm good for a year so.....
Edit: I decided to order more of everything (liquid), I think I needed more PG soon anyway. (ordered some VG nic, vg and pg), now I'm good for approx 2 years.

I just did some calculations and figured that I have enough 100 mg/ml Nic to last 6.5 years, I only mix at 10 mg/ml and go thru about 4ml of juice per day, and mix at a 50/50 ratio, so I might get another Liter of Nic, at most.

I just got my New Wismec Presa 100 Watt TC today and, Boy Howdy is it nice, feels so good to hold, not slippery, not a finger print magnet, nice Big numbers and very readable fonts, works just like my VTC mini and Cuboid so NO learning curve, takes 26650 or 18650 batteries (so more choices there), up-gradable FW (mines ver 1.00), has (3) TCR's. Mines Black and looks real good with a Taifun sitting on top, so I might get several more, after a couple months use to see how it holds up that is.

I have been using it on my GT-V2-T base/chimney parts Taifun every day (same build, just re-filling) and have had not one leak since I changed that deck/chamber sleeve o-ring out with a better one (same size, just better material, the 11x1mm o-ring). No leak from anywhere on the Tank or base/air holes, not one leak, drip, or anything bad.

Does anybody know of a 25mm or even a 30mm Taifun V2 style ?? I'd like to have one for my Presa 100w TC, which is a 30mm 26650 mod.

So I noticed you were an Admin over on the DNA200 forum @dwcraig1 and I have an HCigar VT133 inbound. Any tips on settings that should be changed from the default?

Assuming Hcigar set the thermal properties of the case and mod resistance that just leaves the battery settings which will vary depending on the batteries used. Note that when figuring watt hours that it's going to be less than what the built in calculator says. Reason for that, you are only draining them to maybe 2.9 volts not the 2.5 volts used to rate the 18650's mah.

Having so much trouble with stripping on the acrylic tanks that I love. Never really has this much trouble.
Worried now that I may be stockpiling the wrong thing.
I do not want to give up my Taifuns

What comes to mind is the nano one like this plastic one only in SS, I have one. No luck finding it on FT though.

Only the chimney/cap is metal on mine.

I've got a dna200 in a Vaporflask, using 2 cells (Sony vtc5), essentially a Vt133 just a different box, the battery is set to 19.xx Wh, but when the battery meter gets to around 30% I get the weak battery message.

It was suggested to me to lower the Wh in escribe by 30% to get a more accurate battery bar, but I never did.

Yes that is what I am talking about. I have one too but I want a few more.
I do not think they are cross threading. They just seem to get too big. Like they will not catch, just keep turning and turning.

Getting too big ?? If they fit good at first, then seem to get too big is there a possibility that the metal threads on you're Taifun base are a bit rough and acting like sand paper and wearing the thread material away from the Acrylic tank threads ? chanel, I have been using the same Acrylic tank on my Taifun V2 base (same base) ever since I have got it, and it still fits tight (though I do have to watch out about cross threading the darn thing, in my case it would be very easy to do). How long do you get out of an Acrylic tank before it just gets too loose to screw on to the base, and are you using the same base all the time ??

Edit: I got the same Acrylic tanks that you and petemoss recommended that I get when I was looking to set up my first parts Taifun. Maybe FT is getting some sub-standard Acrylic tanks in, there's always a chance of that happening.
