I've built on a few similar decks, it was never an issue, plenty of room to keep the build off from the deck, by the time the coil is tweaked up a little it is a non issue. I also like that the deck seems to be no longer a press fit, at least on the less expensive clone anyway.

I do see a couple possible issues. First issue, it uses a design similar to Mini ecig's Mini Atty JFC, which I've had issues with. Another probability for annoyance is the notches in the chimney to allow adjustment of the JFC, very much like the first iterations of the ByKa. It may also not be well suited for individuals who enjoy MTL.

The possible issues with JFC would probably have left a clone very little possibility of working well in the past, but given the quality of the recent China offerings it may be OK.

For the cost of the clone it is worth a shot, even with the possibility of the JFC design.

Just looking on pictures: positive screw looks awful, ready for shorts. I would not buy it until I see dozens of positive reviews. And why do they not follow trend in making it easy to catch a wire under a screw? May be I'll skip this one even with positive reviews. Kayfun 5 is so easy to recoil that I retired my Taifun for now, even if I like its vaping qualities (convenience is high on my priorities list). Will wait for the next version.
That positive post is no different than the one on the GEM and it has never shorted on me. Those screw heads look like a decent size too, so I don't think should be any problem trapping wires.

Has anyone seen any info or reviews on the authentic? I was all hyped for the air, and never did order one.... The gt3 is confusing me. I need to see it in action or being built or something.

Other then the JFC the GT III seems to have more in common with the various modern China tanks. Appears to me it will need a fairly robust bundle of cotton to dam the juice flow. The bottom juice flow inlets should allow for quite good flow with High VG liquids.

My concern is sealing the rest of the chamber, If tolerances aren't held pretty closely it may end up being a bit of a leaker, especially with thinner liquids. That was the issue I had with the Miniatty. It may be just fine though, I'd assume the authentic went through a fair bit of beta testing.

The Hurricane Junior cured my appetite for a high airflow Taifun. This might be competition against the Merlin which is still my favorite single coil tank. I'm not a huge fan of the KF5, its an alright tank but not my favorite.

It will probably be middle of next month before my GT III makes it here but I will post some pics and thoughts when it arrives.

Right now I'm really looking forward to my Origen 19/22 which should be here anyday, supposed to be a decent atty.

Extracted these from the English video, also got a good shot of the top cap, but didn't save it. However I did measure pixels and came up with 4mm ID on the chimney based upon a 23mm OD of the atty. Not real precise, not guaranteed accurate, but seems reasonable and about what I guessed, which first guess was 3.5-4mm

Used same method to measure base air hole came up with 3.35mm so that one coud go either way, margin of error 3-3.5mm but I'm leaning towards 3.5 mm

I assume your referring to the GTIII, the less expensive one, only because of the ETA dates, If I like it I'll probably grab the other one as well.
Yes sir. I was thinking of grabbing the $20 one. Have you tried the Goblin Mini V3 for a single coil option? It's made well and produces some dense flavorful vapor Like the Bellus, but it's no Merlin.

I ordered the cheaper one.
So I just ordered one of those TGTIII's from FT, I was going to order the more expensive one but noticed that the tank was PC. I know that has to be fairly thick, I hope the glass is as thin as the original.

No I haven't, not sure If I will, at least for a while, maybe if they drop around $20 from a US source, don't care for the spitback guard, though I think I read somewhere it is removable.
