The GTIII is quite flexible.
- Fully open it's definitely more airy than the Kayfun5.
- with 4 holes opened, its quite similar to the GT2 (fully open)
- Using the one smaller (1mm) air hole (all the others are 2mm) in combination with the airflow reducer insert, gives a pretty tight MtL draw -- bringing up memories of the very first GT. :)

You can wick this thing between 10-70W and get a satisfying vape out of it, depending on your preferences (my personal sweetspot lies somewhere between 15-30W).

Glad to hear more air flow than the kayfun 5. While the k5 is more airy than the previous kayfun's it is a restricted lung or open mtl in my opinion. My slotted gt2 is more open than the kayfun 5 fully opened. Not by leaps and bounds but a noticeable difference and my wife agrees on that.

My vaping habits have migrated towards a more open draw... So hopefully the gt3 is what I'll like. I guess I need to get one now. ;)

My son decided he was tired of hearing my complain about not ordering the air and the gt3 so he took it upon himself and ordered me a gt3 and a gt2 air! He's a good boy! (well, he's pushing 30 so he's a good man. But he's still my baby).

Bottom line, I'll report back with my opinions when they arrive! Very excited.

I ordered the GTIII from intaste.de on Tuesday night along with a Vapor Giant mini v2.5. It arrived Friday morning and I am in Seattle Washington!
The GTIII is very responsive due to an uncomplicated electrical path to the coil .... this makes for quick ramp up times. It also means that it is a very stable atty for temperature control. The air inlet under the coil is @ 4mm so it cools the coil. This directly equates into less chance of singeing the cotton. Naturally higher temps means better release of flavor from the juice. I use a very high VG (max) and I only open up the juice control half way. The coil "snaps" into action and delivers a rather dense and highly flavorful vape.
The GTII is still a very formidable and satisfying vape along with the GSL. Both are keepers and currently in rotation. What separates the GTIII is ease of coiling/wicking and the super easy top filling design.
The juice control is flawlessly simple and very visible for fine tuning.

I tried to upload a photo but the image is too big.

Mccoys, I've been eyeing the G3 and wondering how It compares to the K5. I own both the hurricane and a gt and like both but seem to prefer the K5 and km3 for daily use. I saw a YouTube comparing them but It was in German. If you have an opinion k5 vs gt3 I'd love to hear it. Thanks!
Best, Bill

Focal listed Sheray's TGT III this morning, Shenray usually do a great job, and also typically buy the authentic to copy listing an ETA of the 27th.

focalecig.com - GT V3 Style Atomizer by ShenRay - Silver

For all the RDA fans they also just listed which should be quite nice.

Ever since the K4 came out I had lost interest. Too many pieces and a dirty electrical path that compromised current to the coil. The K5 looks pretty good and more solid. I can tell you that the Taifun GTIII is well engineered and not over engineered. This directly equates into a minimum of material yet has all the functions I prefer:

top fill

maintenance without draining tank

simple build deck/stout deck screws/easy wick wells

highly visible juice ports with drip tip control

Wide Air Inlet Under Coil

High Grade Stainless/Glass/Contacts/Insulators

Simple Clean

All adjustments are external

The result is quick ramp up time that "snaps" the coil into action.
With all the adjustability - Air and Juice Control - you can tailor its draw to your style EASILY.
I am a function over form guy - meaning the atomizer's function dictates the atomizers look and style.
An F-1 car isn't as swoopy and dressy as a Rolls but it will hand a Rolls Royce its lunch, therefore it looks better to me.

Oh, not everyone has one.
Clones maybe ..... but not an authentic.

I have the GTII, GSL and the GTIII. They all bring something great to the table but the GTIII is the one to get.

This is the GTIII as an all day vape choice.

I wish it was glass. I wonder if any of the glass tanks on fast tech would fit
With the authentic TGTII and TGTIII the glass liner is the same.
I bought quite a few from FT and they were of the thicker variety.
Seen posting about length being different on some 3rd party glass pieces.

Baseman, absolutely correct. I remeasured.
True about using the airflow to suit MTL. I was a MTL too but now more airflow, fast wicking option and higher temp friendly coil materials release denser vapor and that carries a lot more flavor.

What bothers me - apart from buying a separate reducer - is that the air hole is quite recessed so your coil does have some distance to it. I'll probably skip this one for that reason.
