The cheap clone from FT runs just fine @ 30-40 watts, .32 build, sure it can run much higher, but flavor and vapor isn't bad down low, I'd disagree with needing 50+ watts for a satisfying vape. Ramp up time isn't bad either. And a normal satisfying vape for me is open air .15 or less running 60+ watts. My Shenray went through LA instead of Chicago, hopefully it will be here early part of the week.

My BT on my Dicodes does well at 65 watts, it's now back on my Opus 200 .
I mistakenly said my BT was 0.265 ohms but is actually 3.65 ohms.
Edit: Say What......0.365 ohms I mean....I'l get it right yet.

Shenray should be here in the AM, my cheap FT clone was .326 last time I had it on a mod. I suppose the grade/size of mesh may play a bit with ramp time and performance, I'll see in the morning if performance is repeatable on a more 1:1 clone.

Since we are discussing oddities, I'll post this one..

.4 ohm SS build, flavor is pretty darn good, airflow is quite different, probably the smoothest air flow I've found on an RDA so far, or should that be RDCA o_O, not overly fond of the wire clamping system, interesting atty.

Shenray arrived this morning, quality is much nicer then the cheap Steamtribe FT clone. Was surprised to see it logo-less! Quite a bit more airflow, easily the most machine lube filled dirty mess I've gotten for quite a while.

Crap luck on the terrible yellow resin tip, thankfully a black is provided as well as a 510 capped adapter. No issues with the build. Even down to the SS rope it is noticeably better quality, overall fit/finish is good, not nearly as nice as some of the stuff I've gotten from them, but acceptable.

I assume the contact pins are properly done, compared to the authentic, filling is much smoother and easier due to tapered fill cups on the pins (Steamtribe was just flat pins with a hole). Instant no fiddling even glow on the .28 ohm 200 mesh 316L build. Full tuft of Sally's is pretty near perfect size after a little stuffing.

The 510 tipped top cap is a nice addition to the package as well. Other then the dirty machine lube status, and the unpleasant yellow resin tip not much negative to say about it.

Oh, almost forgot, this one needs more power to run then the Steamtribe, 50+. Pretty much always run air wide open on most everything, so going to assume additional airflow, larger chamber and slightly lower resistance are the cause. Interesting because its a substantial difference, more then I would have guessed

SXK BT from FT arrived today, excellent copy with the exception of the direction of the slot on the side of the post plugs, they are horizontal instead of vertical. Up and running with the supplied 316 mesh. No logo on side but is labeled on the bottom.
(this post is not correct, see below) DUH

How do you mean, horizontal instead of vertical?

The one with the red arrow is how the original is done.

Well it seems that I am mistaken, the $12 FT BT clone is the one that's different......I think.
I'll check it when I get home from work.
Nope, turns out I'm just plain full of it..........they are all the same in that regard... DUH

Does this sxk one have a decent sized filling hole? also is there a consensus on which one is best yet?

Fills well. Also they used a peek insulator where the negative post passes through the positive deck instead of an o-ring. At $18 I'd say it's a buy.

What sites can I get an authentic GT3? I live in the USA.
InTaste
The 19% tax will be removed with your USA address, shipping is exceptionally fast and like $12 if I remember. about 2 days.
Probably cheaper than a US supplier and same shipping time.

How does the gt3 stack up to other high end rta's? I have the hussar rta and have wanted to get my hands on the gt3. I'm also thinking of getting the squape emotion. Any feed back would be appreciated xD
Taifun GTV3 is amazing Flavourful vape , I own the Authentic an 2 clones as well as the mini an a clone , all are very well built vape is very good little more open than hussar but matches an beats in several areas more Airflow it want it tighter mount coil lower , reduce Airflow there are inserts to add to reduce but Hussar can be more MTL but on open DTL GTV3 wins
Simple to build wick and bigger juice channels , easier to fill can just pour juice in , glass not pc tank , i own use and like both , also another good option Vapor giant v4 mini Squape E motion

The gt3 was my go-to daily beater for a long time, until I got my hussar.

So out of those three you like the GT3 best?
