nah

I ate the PMMA with acetone. it still worked, but was kinda ugly. I still have the all-steel tank section, but I can't see me using that anymore.

I do have the replacement PMMA section for 50/50, but it didn't fit my clones so it's just kinda there

now that I got those full clear tanks from FT, I gave one to my brother + an extra little o-ring for his Taifun to have him come along to a vape shop with me to get juice as I didn't want to go alone, I'll probably rock full clear from here on.

but anyway, since I have a steel tank, how does that help to fix this base?

Wasn't that you recommending Angelcigs?
Best E Cig Mechanical Mods & Rebuildable Atomizer For Sale
I bought some replacment tanks from HCigar Taifun GT Replacement Tank - EVcigarettes.com, pretty easy to change.

You use the tank for a reciever ( to hold the base as you drive the deck out )
I have yet to do one but it's not that hard.

I believe it was EVcig where I got my replacement, but I guess those only fit the real ones and the HCigar clones

I wanted H Cigar but was too cheap or too impatient

either way, that led me to purchasing the steel tank because I didn't want to pay 15 or 20 for a replacement elsewhere
It says for Hcigar but I used it on the $22 and change FT TGT, I cracked it with in a week with some ripe bannana. At fist try I thought it wouldn't fit (appeared to be same size as the steel) but it fit perfectly. I had to bevel the edge of the plastic with some sand paper, once started straight I tapped it on with a plastic headed hammer.

Did you buy a steel TGT tank previously? If not order one with your next TGT 'cause you'll need it to disassemble your shorted one.

Or you could use a deep socket

Thats what I did with a blunt tipped punch. You'll need an atty stand or a wood block with a hole in it and another piece of wood to put on 510 connector & build deck so the vise wont do a number on your base when you press it back in.

depends on your build and what you prefer, really

I vape mine exclusively on a DNA 30 device, between 17.5-21.5 watts, with a twisted 28 gauge micro coil on a 5/64ths.

if you are tasting cotton, I assume it's not because you just rewicked it and you are actually getting dry hits. post your build (pictures)
