A note on the o-rings:
The type B FT model seems to come with 10 x 1mm orings installed and in the extras bag.
The original, I'm pretty sure, use and provide 11 x 1mm o-rings.
I use and most report that they are 12 x 1mm, these have been a little tight at first but end up good and stiff but movable.
And the o-ring on the chamber's cap is the same as under the sliding part so they can be swapped if one has no new ones.

But how good is the dripper? The air flow should be alright I suppose more more restrictive unless you drilled out your taifun.
So with the dripper do you plug the original air hole so juice doesn't leak out when you drip or am I missing something? Anyone have pics of the dripper set up and working?

There are a couple things that can be done with the center air tube. You can pull the tube out and put a tight fitting machine screw in it's place to keep the liquid from escaping through there or as I have done is to simply pull the air tube up higher than what the liquid will be. It's one way of not losing the little tube and it's just plain easier.
It's hard to see how far up the tube is but it's out pretty far. I've had this for a while (original) but with the current build, 0.19Ω, I wanted to increase the air hole size but paid to much for it to modify it. With the clone I have coming I will not hesitate.

I have one, not the clone, no pics yet, and no time for them atm. Works fine. Not a first class dripper, but very useful for juice testing, particularly if you DIY. Since I use the Taifun 90% of the time, the dripper allows me to easily taste test flavors, and I can recommend it for that purpose. Some may find it to be an adequate dripper. It wouldn't make my top 10 ADV drippers, though, but for convenience, it's hard to beat. My

see, but that would actually detract from the dripper I think. I really like this magma and I thought one of the main reasons is the air flow directly under the coil

You would have to extend the air tube up, or in my case reinsert the tube... [emoji51]
Gah! Thought I had fixed my issue of the chimney/chamber spinning, but its still doing it :\
Not sure what happened or how to fix it. The chamber has plenty of resistance on the O-ring, so that's not it. It has to be the "stem" part snagging and turning it, but idk what could have caused that to happen or what to do about it. So frustrated! This has been my "ole reliable" atty for months!

This is a brand new FT TGT type B that I opened for this picture. Upon disassemble I removed the tank cap with stem first and the chamber spun around like it was meant to, by far the loosest I've seen so far. Note the o-ring on the right, that's the one that came on it. The one on the left is a 12 x 1mm that I'll put on it.
Back to the matter at hand.... try fitting just the stem and the chamber cap together, make sure that the stem is centered and not bent, as I have done in the picture.
Back together now, changing the chamber's o-ring took care of the problem with this one. This loose chamber on type B models is discussed extensively on the FastTech forum.

Mine is an authentic, so I don't know if this applies to me or not. The stem is definitely not bent, and the O-ring I replaced was from the O-ring kit that is offered from the modder. The chamber is quite snug.

The part of the post directed at you is to see how easily the chamber cap fits over the stem, the rest is just well the rest.
The cap should slide onto the stem super easy but you should still be able to feel a slight drag from that tiny o-ring. If it feels too snug remove the o-ring and try it. Use fine Emory on the end of the stem to get it to fit if it's too tight (don't sand the o-ring)
