Alright..what a dingbat. Went back to the chart Craig made awhile back and did another oring ectomy. Problems started when I opened one of the three I ordered in a panic using the re-order button when they went off the FT website awhile back. I got them but they are not the same ones and they all have the air flow control on them. Good I guess although somewhere along the line I got the parts from my others mixed up with the new ones and some must have had bad orings.

That is the Hysteric Dome Cap for the Taifun. If you have FB, you can PM @Andy Hysteric Vape and inquire about that particular cap. You can order it with red or blue O-rings and an SS or Clear top cap. I should have mine sometime today actually.

If you stick a cue-tip down the chimney through the drip tip side and plug the chimney with it, you could get a ton more juice in either xs or full size tanks. People did that with the aerotank mega to get alot more juice in there. Idk what effect this will have on the vacuum but you can fill much more than stock capacity with the cue tip. Just make sure your AFC is off while putting the base on and you shouldn't have a whole lot of juice going in the chamber as long as your quick. Mind you, I havent tried it yet, just because I'm okay with the stock capacity on both tanks.

I rewicked it with rayon and am much happier with the results. Like I said earlier, I had to have the juice flow so backed off that the top part of the chimney would come off while removing the base, and forcing me to drain the whole tank to retrieve it. Since the Rayon doesn't expand, and seems to even "sag" a bit once it's juice up and broken in, I was initially having some minor leaking, but I tightened the cap down alot tighter than I thought I would have to and its doing great at 16.2 watts on the P3. That's kind of my sweet spot right now. Minor hiss after the draw, but nothing too bad. I do an occasional primer puff here and there, but it's really good. I can't remember the I.D. of the build, it's either 2mm or 2.5mm with either 28 or 29 gauge 6 wraps micro but it's 1.2 ohms. Pretty sure its 28 gauge around the 2.5mm bit. Koh Gen Do is getting set aside for my drippers, because I honestly prefer the taste of KGD, but its a relatively minor difference. Certainly get better vapor on my Reo+Trident with Rayon right now with a .41 dual 26 gauge build

Nice Craig! I just bought one of these and gave it a very quick test without rebuilding the coil. It worked fine, but not a standout dripper due to the distance between the airflow and the coil. If you build it like you did with the coil moved off to the side I'm sure it performs well. It's just not ideal for transitioning between tank and dripper use without a rebuild. I just picked up an aqua v2, and that one really shines in that dept. The same dual coil build you run in tank mode works perfectly in dripper mode.

Here's a little wilder build on it that I'm sure I posted before in this thread.

The coils need to be a bit closer to the air holes but room also has to be left for putting the cap on.

Taifun looks okay on the P1, and P2.5. The beauty ring eliminates all doubt, though. +1 to Craig's post.

Methinks Craig has one of everything so that he can post pics when any question comes up. Strictly for educational and training purposes of course. ;)

Never owned a Provari, almost did once but when Provape's site switched me over to the payment button page when I hit the button the site crashed and I took that as a spiritual sign and didn't buy it. LOL
I do have an awful lot of stuff, finally sold a couple of things a couple of days ago. It was that or get a new apartment 'cause I have more on the way.( no room )

Hoping you are nearby. Things got better for me when I increased my wick size on the GT.
Todays problem involved the GS. Been running it Spheriod method and love love LOVING it. Worked like a charm all the time. Today was the first time I changed the wicks only because they got a little bent. I also changed cotton at this time, not coil. As soon as I put it all back together here comes the juice out the air hole. I syphoned it out with a blunt tipped syringe but it just would not stop leaking.
Being as the KGD is not really creating the wick it can not be the size of my KGD can it?

I'm not sure that I understand, you say that your using it with the "fluff" in the tank. I can't imagine how it could leak unless over saturated, it isn't suppose to be able to leak with that setup.

After reading your post again it appears that your saying that you changed the stainless steel mesh pieces, if that's the case roll them a little tighter. Check top tank o-ring and the one on the chimney stem,10 x 1 mm and 4 x 1 mm receptively, while your at it.

aaah wrong terminology on my part. I am using the ss mesh wick method not Spheroid.
(My GT's took a backseat to this GS when it was working properly)
So you got my drift anyway. I will try that today (rolling them tighter) the first time I did it I thought I did a rather shabby job of rolling them and they came out just kind of jammed up but they worked. This time I really used care and rolled them and they looked like miniature straws.

I roll them on a sewing nettle, kind of a regular sized one and after pulling it out continue rolling in my fingers till it slide nicely into the hole. You don't want them too tight though.
Be careful when unscrewing the tank that you don't start unscrewing the part that the tank screws onto from the base/body, hold it by the knurling closest to the tank and by the tank.
