Yeah well that is and always has been a problem for mine. Whenever I unscrew it the chamber cap comes off in the tank taking the two mesh wicks with it. I have to use a tiny pair of needle nose pliers to get it out and re assemble. I thought perhaps the oring on the chimney was too thick to not allow it to come out and I have been hoping each time that would not happen but it does

I roll them on a sewing nettle, kind of a regular sized one and after pulling it out continue rolling in my fingers till it slide nicely into the hole. You don't want them too tight though.
Be careful when unscrewing the tank that you don't start unscrewing the part that the tank screws onto from the base/body, hold it by the knurling closest to the tank and by the tank.

So I would really love to get an authentic TFGT orignal or II. I'm starting to wonder if its possible though. When is either in stock?

edit: I already have a clone, btw.

I have two originals and nine clones. I lost track of which was which a long time ago. There's a point in there somewhere. Good luck! :toast: :D

I finally got me a taifun clone yesterday. When i first got it,i pulled it out of the box and took a draw just to see how the airflow was on these,as i've never tried one before.I've been using orchids and a few other high airflow rba's,and after using these, the draw on the taifun was so tight i almost put it back in the box to put it away.I decided to check out a few video's and found a way to make this thing very nice.I pulled the air tube and insulator, and drilled out the air hole on the side to 7/64",then wicked it with koh gen do,and wow with the quick modification, these things are awesome.Still not quite as airy a draw as some of my other tanks, but very nice now,and great flavor.I was skeptical, but now i plan on buying another one,as well as picking up the GT 2.
I have to give Bill's magic vapor credit for pushing me to get this thing haha,as he has mentioned the taifun/koh gen do several times in another thread that we are both on,so my curiousity finally got the best of me,this was my first attempt with the kgd as well, and i'm really liking this combo.

taifun gt 2 1:1 clone came in. it's not exactly 1:1. the glass is not frosted. also the chamber cover is little loose, but i guess that can be fixed with thicker o-ring. dropped it few times while vaping on the front porch. few scratches, but i'm sure it will work fine. it's same as the FT one that has glass tank. same package, and same everything but has logo. i'm sure getting the FT one should have been a cheaper alternative.

looking at the atty, it looks very similar to the tfgt. but it has more air flow. will clean it soon and vape. need to shop for more liquid.. and battery..

i don't know what it is.. i just love tfgt. and tfgt2. i think it has better flavor than aqua 2. but little less air flow. it tastes great. and nothing looks better with taifun than the 23mm 1:1 penny clone.

Noooooo! I spent 2 months thinking about getting the Aqua V2 as so many people said it was the best flavour and vape, ordered it today! I already have 2 genuine TGTs and 4 clones my TGT2 is on its way. Just so disappointing to read this another can't be bothered to vape atty with no better vape or at worse loads of hassle building it for a disappointing one. Gutted.

What sedge said. I have an Aqua v2 and it's been simply awesome. They are different use cases for me. The GT II is always built to 0.9 or 1.0 ohms and more often than not run at under 20 W. I'm still figuring out the Aqua, but so far I've been building it to 0.4 or 0.5 ohms and running between 28 and 38 W. It's a vape cannon with great flavor to boot. Lately the Aqua has taken up residence on the SX Mini where I can pump the watts and the GT II is living on the P3. Both are great in their respective worlds for me.

As a devoted TGT fanboy, I too am discovering how great the Aqua II is. It's fantastic! Amazingly forgiving on the wicking too. Every time I'm done and think to myself "boy, that looks iffy" I'm always greeted with a satisfying, fully saturated vape. I've got two going right now, amongst an army of TGTs and various drippers. :)

I'm not one for vendor bashing, but I've just about had it with smoker store. Does anyone else get replies when they try to contact them? I didn't receive a tracking number for the last order and they're not responding via email or contact form on the site. Getting a might bit pissy now. :(

EDIT: Took a little longer than I would like, but I did hear back from them. Good stuff.
