My gt clone somtimes leaks a little out of the air hole is there anything I can do to stop it? Otherwise I like it a lot.

Try adding a couple pieces of wick to your existing wick, try something like 25% more than what you have. Just lay them on there where the wick goes through the slots.
If it still leaks you know to look else where if not make the wick a little fatter
You might try just fluffing the ends of the wick by poking it in the center and spreading it outward (the ends)

Craig-
Please advise. For somebody that is not going to modify things (not that handy and do not own a dremel) is there much difference in the GT and the GT2?
I did get one GT that has the air control and I like that one better than the ones I have that do not have it. Wondering if I even need to advance to the GT2. Can you tell me the benefits?
Thanks so much for all you advice ALWAYS

The chamber cap is adjustable on the TGT II, it opens or closes the wick slots some but the cloners only got it to do about half. The TGT II has a 3 mm air hole between the posts and comes with a short plastic tube to reduce it to 2 mm. Has 5 small air holes on each side. Glass tank on original and some clones.
I would say the answer for you is the old type A or the GT-S that you mentioned
If you need one go ahead perhaps and get a TGT II but not for to upgrade as stock they are about the same vape.

Since we're all abusing Craig today - do you know offhand what the total airflow is through the GT II with the AFC wide open? You mentioned the inner tube is 4mm, but I didn't think the air intake holes added up to this much. Was curious how much wider it is than the KF4. The GT II certainly feels more airy even with the 4s kit installed in the KF4.

Yes that's the suggested clone.
Stacked cut off wheels, I put two wheels on the arbor to achieve the width of the cut.

All the orings are the same size as TGT I with the exception of AC ring (18 x 1 mm) and the glass/plastic tank ends (20 x 1 mm)
Here's the rest:
12 x 1 mm on the chamber cap.
11 x 1 mm or 12 x 1 mm under the sliding sleeve.
4 x 1 on the end of the chimney (fill line).
2 x 1 mm under the 510 screw's head.(optional)
5 x 1.5 mm goes on the drip tip

Note that the wheels in the video appear thicker to me so two may be too wide a cut. Mine are from Harbor Freight, the Dremel style rotary tool too.
Not bad for $24

You're the man! Thank you so much.

While the air outlet on the TGT II is 3 mm there are ten 1 mm holes for the inlet, they are close to being equal to a 4 mm hole) but the bottle neck is inside the base, it could be even more free flowing.
On the K4 sub center pin the ID is 2.7 mm
An example of the difference lies here, a 4 mm hole has 4 x less resistance than a 2 mm hole. Whether hole, pipe, duct this applies. Also the length of a "duct" needs to be considered.

This is a picture of FT type "A" base, it's the early brass one.
If the screwdriver is 9 o'clock look at around 10 o'clock, that is the hole the air enters the deck from the base. It comes from below the brass disc and goes into that hole at an angle to the center of the deck then straight out. This is the bottle neck inside the deck that I refer to.
More than what you ask I guess.
The stock TGT II I believe is much more airy.

In trying to answer my own question I found the user manual on smokerstore's site:

http://www.smokerstore.de/WebRoot/Store11/Shops/61925514/MediaGallery/TGT2_Manual_HiRes_Final_E.pdf

In the airflow section it says, "The diameter of the air hole in the evaporator chamber is 3mm...".

3mm sounds about right. It was not a lot more airy than the KF4 with 4s kit, but enough to notice. 3mm GT II vs 2.7mm KF4 sounds right. Where did the 4mm figure come from? If I had a digital caliper this would be a lot simpler.

Thanks as always for answering all my annoying questions. You da man.

Right, it might be 3 mm, I'll measure it now, one moment.
3 mm it is.
Airy is this Kanger mini Subtank I'm tooting on now.

I have one here that so far I enlarged the wick slots to 3 mm but have yet to put a build in it till I decide what if anything more I"ll do to it. I probably will slot the air inlets as well, just haven't decided yet.
Of my big air big cloud tanks the TGT II modded is the most satisfying vape.
