Comparing the GSII 22mm and GSL 23mm by Shenrey, it seems the GSL has smaller holes for the mesh wick and a smaller center air flow hole. I don't own either, just noticed it the pics. Can anyone confirm that has these models?

Chimney & Feeder hole sizes for the ones I have
Hotcig 19mm
6mm
3mm

Shenray 19mm
6mm
3mm

Hotcig 22mm
8mm
3mm

Shenray 23mm GSL
6mm
3mm

What is the purpose of the upper, additional airflow? Maybe for use in Dripper mode... Because in Tank mode, when opened, it simply depressurizes it and e-liquid runs outside slowly, but surely. Maybe I don't know something? But I've been vaping this tank all day today. It reaches 65W in TC mode on every puff. I think, it could easily compete with Dual Coil tanks. IMHO

Not sure it really has a real purpose other then just providing additional/more airflow, and to offer a common path approach for use in dripper mode. The atomizer chamber is not pressurized, you have the chimney & bottom airflow which negates any possibility of a pressure build up. The tank on the other hand is supposed to be sealed and a vacuum/negative pressure is what is supposed to keep the liquid in.

In my experience the upper air flow effects flavor more @ lower power, it seems to take a bigger hit when running in the lower wattage ranges, which does seem logical to me. I normally run mine with about .8 ohm 3mm Kanthal or Stainless wire 25 watts.

Love your work on those wire posts, as well as your mods to the KF4!

What SS wire are y'all using? someone said to buy the beadalon 316L ss wire from michaels, but they (michaels) dont have it in my area, just "german wire" which according to the chart on the back of the package is below the 316L in terms of quality....???

I decided to order some 316 SS wire at Ebay, it kinda a lot, but the price was so right

If you click on the red "Ebay" in the thread it takes you to the page :)

Im waiting for it to arrive, will let you all know if its "life changing"

As long as it vapes well and has no funky taste it will be good.
That was my next question. How is it. I've only been vaping for 2+ years, and there's always something life changing around the corner...always.

I think pbusardo said it best in one of his videos, at this level of vaping the changes are very slight or subtle. You either accept it or don't.

At the price now, its is less expensive than kanthal and if it is safer, heck why not. I dont know if there is actual concrete evidence that it IS safer, but surgical grade makes one think it is.

If it has a higher tolerance of heat and releases less supposed toxins , again I will continue to use it , unless it tastes bad.... and if they have real evidence it is safer then I have to make the choce of taste and safety and relative percentage of safety....

There will be "something" new all the time.... Im satisfied with my gear , I feel much better than when I smoked. I still miss smoking and oddly enough, I do miss the aroma of smoking...

People just getting into vaping have so many choices and it must be so much more confusing now. When I started you had cartos, clearos, and only a few atomizers. You had EGO type batteries, large clunky tubes. If I were to start today, I dont know if all this choice and peoples attitudes would just turn me off :)

In my two years here on the forum I have met some of the nicest people. Dog trainers that helped me when I adopted a dog, fellow animal rescuers, people sharing their juice. The recent one just blew me away. I hope he does not mind me sharing. I was gifted this yesterday . It is something I would not ever have bought myself. It is so beautiful and it is now, my most prized piece of vape gear.

Since I don't always need, or want high powered combo, was looking for something to put the 19mm GSII on I thought I'd give this a try, slightly longer then the Ego one 1100ma, maybe a little less battery life, but simple enough to put another battery in. Also has a much nicer button! Now I just need someone to bring out a nano tank for the GSII

@dwcraig1 @chanelvaps

Daniel is just one of the many incredibly nice people I've met here. I can't applaud loud enough for him in this amazing pif. I congratulate you chanelvaps on an outstanding mod and gift. I sincerely hope it's used in good health and happy times.

Ya know, I have to admit users here on ECF who share knowledge are what keeps me coming back here versus the competition. I appreciate people taking the time from the lives to read threads and questions, then post MEANINGFUL replies, instead of the ridiculous off beat comments/replies I've read in certain threads.

Now, take that a step further, gifting a piece of high end hardware to someone, in my opinion is nothing short of amazing class and generosity.

Lets have a big hand for @dwcraig1, it's an inspiration.

that was my hope in sharing it. When someone is that thoughtful it should be recognized.

The other side of the coin.

When my GL clone gets here it will live on the end of this... in it's single battery mode though.
On top right now is the Aromamizer RTBA with is being touted by many as super flavor +big clouds.
It does what it says.. dripper vape with a tank.
Just my opinion so far (still new) though, it's got nothing on the TGS2 flavor wise.
My GL will be here in a few more days.
