the 510 extension can be placed into the chuck of a drill, tighten it up, screw the atomizer into it
Ughhh hate to be so stupid here but...I found a 510 ext, took about a Taifun to try to figure out what you are talking about. which part goes into the drill (big? little?) and then where does it screw into the atty? Thought we were talking about the chimney cap? talk to me like I am a four year old ;)

Hope this clears it up for you. Of course once it is in place take the tank off, insert sandpaper tube into chamber cap hole, polish away. Check often as to not go to far, but with 1500 grit or finer paper it takes a while to take off an appreciable mount of metal. Just a good polishing of it may be enough, or long enough that the chimney slides in smoothly.

I wouldn' change it, I'd prefer this, and have done it.

aha..OK...I GET IT! Put the whole tank in the drill using the 510 connection and then use the drill to spin the whole thing.....ok now I am following that part. What holds the sandpaper in the chamber cap?

Correct, the 510 extender gives the additional length and protects your 510 threads of the atomizer from damage. While you can use a single speed drill variable speed is better for control. I just hold the sandpaper with my fingers.

I'm not defending the tax, but given the choice between higher priced juice available or all of it being outlawed by fda.... Which would you choose?
well..that is tough but partly because I am a renegade and have always flown under the radar and hated gov control I would just choose to have it outlawed. Cannot stand the gov making any more money off anything I am doing. I would continue learning to perfect making my own

What I think about the outrageous taxation, and deeming is not fit for this forum. I won't pay the taxes, I won't comply with deeming over-reaching regulation. It really isn't even exclusively about vaping, it is the entire bigger picture.

Accepting lesser of the evils is entirely why we are in this boat.

"The Oppose Vapor Taxes in MN" bill, that I referenced in post Taifun GT Discusion!. I went to CASAA's website to fill out and sign and send an email to all the Minnesota Representatives, well, I got (7) "Unable to Deliver email" notifications back in my inbox Wednesday at 12 noon. I sent CASAA an email with all those "UnDeliverable email's" attached and told them that it seems like someone gets a knock on their door, and looks out the window and sees a sales man standing there and decides NOT to answer the door. This State is Really Screwed up, Big Time. I moved up here from The Great State of Arizona to be with family, and if it weren't for them, I would say Adios to this Nanny State.

do you tighten your chimney cap all the way? I do not because I want more juice flow. Maybe I need to?

Yes I do, just because I found that with Rayon as my wick of choice, If I don't tighten all the way then it tends to flood, If I tighten all the way tight, then I have No problems at all. I wick with tiny (as in very thin) wick tails sticking out the wick slots and down to the chamber base so I can get every last bit of juice I can get, that way when my vape starts to get weak, I know it's about dry, and time for a re-fill.

My chimney (on the Acrylic Tanks) slips into the chimney cap hole alright, that is, until it gets to the o-ring, then all it does is to start pushing the whole chimney cap/coil chamber down until I have the tank fully screwed on. The o-ring never slides into the cap (I can always see the full o-ring sitting on top of the chimney cap (but it does seem to give a good enough seal that it doesn't flood).

Yah that's the bigger picture everyone is missing. With vaping the fed isn't getting their sin tax as they do with smoking and here losing lobby dollars. Or at risk of. Billion are at risk here and everyone wants their cut so they figure they can push the boot to the neck because we haven't shown them otherwise.

By contrast alcohol is barely taxed or regulated. It's ridiculous.

What's to come
-----
As for the regulations. Obviously what's going to happen (and forgive me if I'm repeating in this thread I've said it in many)

Rj Reynolds and Philip Morris are going to scour for the most popular vaping hardware and juices. They're then going to spend a billion dollars buying the rifts including the friendly names we know. They will reduce new development to a yearly cycle or so from big names like kanger or aspire. They will pay the certification fee. And they will bring up the costs of Chinese tanks or down the costs of boutiques (should they buy them) when they mass produce designs which are popular (think kayfun) they will have full control over juice and what we will find when we examine are random chemicals are finding their way in. Just like cigarettes are nothing like just tobacco.

There will be a small contingent of "renegades" who firm communities to share recipes. Concentrates will be sold as food flavoring. Pg and VG as well as nicotine will be available but nicotine will be available in barrels and need to be split and processed like nude nicotine do. This is where the taxing will come in for raw nicotine. It will go up in cost a minimum of 4x (it's heap now)

I don't foresee products going away. The pace will slow. A ton of people in the government rely on finding from cigarette taxes and they're losing that money now. They won't tax things like booze at a higher level even igh drunk driving kills close to as many as smoking if not more. Unfortunately taxes on fringe things like vaping I up to compensate

Within ten years we will see a widely accused documentary on how the government colluded with big tobacco to kill the vaping community and poison Americans.

Non vapers will still believe second hand vape is harmful. Well because they're .......

That's my 8 ball - forgive the typos. The hand still aren't working correctly post op. Can't feel my fingers much.

General stuff
----
I've been vaping for over three years but I just passed my first full year cigarette free. I'm at about 13 months now. While I gained weight between that and my spinal surgeries and medication my heart and lungs have never felt better.

Congratulations on you're 13 months of success h00ligan.

I was one of the Lucky ones, in that My First Hit off of my Spinner 2/EVOD2 and I was Hooked (so to speak ;)) on vaping, and have never looked back.

In you're "Whats to come" section, WoW, That sure is a lot to think about. Very well written, I can see all that coming true, but never thought about it that way until you posted what you did on this subject.

"The hand still aren't working correctly post op. Can't feel my fingers much."

No problems h00ligan, several of us here have varied and different maladies that we have to contend with on a daily basis. I have to take so many pain killers for my Arthritis that I worry that people think I'm about 3 cans short of a 6-pack half the time, including my wife.

Yes, and Why oh Why do people Keep voting the same Politicians into office that have proven time and time again that they could give a Tinkers Damn about the regular citizen by continually taking away our Rights. It seems that too many folks believe what they hear, instead of what they see, from our Political Representatives. J.D. Hayworth, Congressman from my Home State of Arizona, said from the outset, that if Elected he intended to Serve in office for (2) terms and no more, as he didn't believe in making a profession out of politics. Even though he was asked by many (voters that is) to stay in Congress beyond his 2nd term, he refused, and cited his promise to ONLY Serve for 2 terms  . We need more Elected Officials to serve the People, and do what they said that they would do, and NOT to make Politics a Profession, or go back on their word about promises made. It is sooo hard for me to vote, as It always comes down to the Best of the Worst in my mind, up here in Minnesota that is (I look at their past voting records on different bills, just to get a feel for where that Politicians head is at), OK you guys, insert joke here. ;)

Anyway, I'll be slowly stocking up on my Vaping Supplies as I believe the writing is on the wall for all of us up here in Minnesota. I hope I am Proven Wrong, but I won't hold my breath. It IS about the Bigger Picture, we are so Screwed.

Ugghh..newest FT Taifuns both have the wrong size oring or they were machined wrong or something. The well does not come off. I gave it enough of a pull that it pulled the whole thing lose from the base.
I am going to order some 10X1's and hope that does it. Damn FT

Which ones are those chanelvaps ??

I just got a Erlk clone from FT and Boy Howdy, does it have a tight draw, even wide open. I might retire my Lemo's and just use my Taifun's and Erlk's. I feel that I have to go BACK in time just to get the kind of RTA that suits me.

Just the regular GT-T V2 (base only, two pack) I think this is the only time I ordered the two pack. Stocking up. I already have 6-7 of them and wanted another four to put away. I have given a few away because they are so cheap when you buy them this way and use the acrylic tank.
I guess I just need to put in another order for some Orings because I also need some 17x1 for base. Seems like I bought them before but not seeing them in my big bag of Orings

The factory size for that o-ring, base to tank, is 17 x 1.5 mm. Are you using 17 x 1 because the 1.5's are too big with that style tank?
Really happy to hear you weigh in here. I cannot remember if I ever tried the 17 x 1.5's or not. I ordered them and have them in my oring bag and could not remember why I have them.
They def do not come from FT with that size. They come with a 17 x 1.
I will try the 17 X 1's then.

Give 'em a try, they will let you know if they are too big (a gap)
