That's the only way I can use the 801 also... I think Steve does it too...lol.. I get a much better hit that way. So you are not alone. I was even thinking about using some of that plastic stuff you dip tool handles in to help with the possibility of cutting my lip on it by accident. Haven't tried it yet though. I am stuck on the 510 now so haven't used the 801 in a while.

same here ... discovered tailpiping ... mouthpiece is a waste of rubber now ...

Funny - agreed - I always tailpiped my 510's damn they get hot - bought a few 801s and the 510 to 801 adapter - and I must admit it is nice on the 801 not getting so hot.. still love my 510s the best tho - I thought the plastic mouth piece was just to keep pocket lent from getting into your atty... lol

very very true on the pocket lint mr glass .... hmmmm

I tried tailpiping 901's and 510's ... a bit *too* hott for me. The months I went tailpiping the 801 at 6v's, I swear, I was getting dead lip skin on the atty from the heat ... Any of you tailpipers know what I mean, or do I just suffer from dry lips ?!?!?! LOL ... I would take my fingernail and run it along the outside to clean it!

I don't think the cart design is good no matter what filler material you use. It is a sponge and the only way to get all the juice out of a sponge is to squeeze it. I think they are a waste of juice and that is too valuable these days. Every drop counts and I like vaping every bit of it. After I squeezed out 12ml from my "Empty" carts I started dripping only.

An after thought...
Steve, why don't you come up with a mouthpiece we could slip on the end of a 510, 901, 801 that would help with the heat and open up the airway just like tail piping would be. I bet it would go over well. You could use delron or something like that. Put an o ring inside it to keep it in place. Hmmm...

I just thought of another reason I want something like this. So I don't have to take it off to drip. That is annoying me. I might just have to try cutting a regular mouthpiece to do away with the small hole in the end. Especially when driving this would come in handy. You have four things in your hands, the PV, mouthpiece, bottle, and bottle top. Now just for a self sealing bottle top.... hmmm... the ideas never stop.

Tail piping is the only way to go. I can never go back to mouth pieces or carts.

My atty is connected to the 5+ volt Prodigy.

Now I just need to figure out what to do with my extra carts?????????????

I know what you mean panderson....I bought 100 carts from china before my prodigy got here and now what to do with all of them...lol

"Tailpiping"! That is damn near hilarious and a great term for taking the mouthpiece off. The funny thing is that i NEVER would have thought of doing something like that until last weekend. I was sitting on my neighbor's deck and my friggin mouthpiece rolled off the table and down into a crack while i was reloading. My neighbor asked what I was going to do. Little did I know...i was "tailpiping"!!! We got a good laugh and I got a really good vape!
