When it comes to voting in an election - and being amazed that the biggest creep wins and promptly proceeds to screw over the electorate - - hm.. have you been casting your votes into the correct box?

In an episode of The Vicar of Dibley, a young woman said when she wasn't sure who to vote for, she'd just put a big 'X' next to the Tory to make sure he wouldn't get in.

It's sad to say that, in the last forty years, probably 90% of my votes haven't been so much for one candidate as much as they've been against the other. It's always the lesser of two evils.
