Taking Juice onto a plane?

Coming from a guy that has been through airport security so many times I should have cancer by now....

Its all up to the TSA Agent and whether or not they are paying attention.

Juice should not be a problem in small quantities... I would reccomend packing your supply of juice in your checked luggage, and just carrying a small (Under 3oz) amount in your carryon for the flight.

Any chargers or passthrough SHOULD get through, but may look suspicious going through xray.

The rules for me are different being flight crew as when Im in uniform I have no liquid limit as to what I can bring on board any airline, however I have spoken to many a TSA Agents regarding ecigs.

From what I have learned there is no specific wording as to if they are allowed or not allowed in the sterile area, its up to the individual screeners discretion, however eliquid must comply with all other TSA 3-1-1 standards. So make sure in under three ounces and in a 1 quart plastic bag and remove it seperately from your luggage when going through screening.

Good luck and fly safe!

Just got home from a trip to Nashville - had no issues either way. I kept my e-cig stuff in my laptop bag and the liquids with the other liquids in the platic baggie. It went right next to the visine and the lip gloss and I never got so much as a second glance with it.

:D

It was nice to sneak a toke or two along the way and be a happy flyer instead of wanting to kill the people near me! LOL

Hope that helps!

Took a commuter United flight outta Denver on Monday and I didn't even try to hide it. Did the 3-1-1 and had the damn thing hanging out of my mouth in the TSA line. Threw it in the X-Ray tub and went through without question. Seems that no one cares.

Also puffed away in the plane - no issues. Flight attendant even knew what it was and asked which model.

Also had no issues flying TO Denver, but the TSA in Omaha doesn't seem to pay attention to anything.

RIAFlight must be spreadin' the word!
