...Can the blank cartomizers be refilled with the same flavor of e-juice, or do they need to be tossed after one use? Also, I refrigerated my e-juice to preserve it's freshness....
Hi Scarlet, congrats on starting your vaping journey...it's gonna be fun!

Regarding lifespan and refilling of cartos, Buzzy gave a good capsule summary, and the particulars and quirks of each brand is part of the learning curve.

I believe the current concensus regarding refrigerating your juices is to not refrigerate but leave in a cool, dark environment. Many juices actually mellow and improve their flavor with age.

Happy vaping to you!

The kr808d-1 was my first 'real' e-cig, and after the learning curve, it is very easy to use. If you're as picky as I am, it's easy to keep a single carto goin for well over a week. I can proudly say I had one last almost 3 weeks... it just stopped working one day. eh. Anyway, I've found the trick to keeping the cartos alive for longer is in keeping it topped off. After taking about 3-4 good puffs, put a drop or two back in. Be sure to vape it down every now and then, but try not to burn the filler too badly ;)

Also, keep one of the rubber carto-condoms and pop it on the carto end so lint or whatever won't get into it while in your pocket. If you have a manual battery or the newer auto battery, just pop that condom on the LED end and vape away. The older autos would activate with that on top...

I've upgraded to a 501, but I keep my 808's charged and ready for action. In my honest opinion, the 808's are right up there in every respect except for dripping. You can buy an atomizer for a 901 and drip but it's nowhere near the same.

Here's my 2 cents. Just received my first electronic cig from Deal Extreme yesterday. I was out smokin' when a guy I work with came out with an e-cig. I had heard about them and said I would like to try it out, but don't wanna kick out 60-100 bucks just to see. He showed me his and said the one he bought was only 10 bucks, but took a couple of weeks to arrive. I figured I could blow that so I ordered one. It is the one with the black case and I think it's called e-health cigarettes (or something, left the case at my friends house). FYI, there are at least 3 different 'packages' you can order. Mine was just a black plastic case with 6 cartridges, but it has a built in USB charger in the pack- pretty cool. I would however, suggest getting the one that has the wall charger and some other goodies with the case for around $14 - that way, you get a usb charger and some extra cables for dirt cheap. I'd recommend trying something like this, because it's so cheap and you can see if you like it. So far, in 1 day and a half, I've probably smoked 5 cigarettes less than I would have, so if this thing lasts me a week it's already paid for itself. Just wish I'd have gotten the pack with the charger, really could use that charger.....:) Oh, and if you care, that one has a red LED on it instead of the blue one on mine.....
