Tank Advice

Purchased a Lavatube vv mod. I was wondering what would be the best tank set up to use on this mod? I know there are some connection issues with the flange on the battery connection not making contact with carto on these units.

Right now I have tanks from volcano, which I believe are the smoketech carto tanks with LR 1.5 ohm cartos. The cartos are crap and they flood no matter what ratio of PG:VG I have tried. They wouldn't work well on the Lavatube anyway being so LR.

Also use a 650mah and 1000mah ego battery set up. The tanks work okay on these aside from the flooding issue, if you can call that okay

So I know I need to go up at least 2.0 res to get some benefit from VV mod. I have used boge 2.0 cartos that give a good vape on the unit but I like the convenience of a tank system. Who makes a decent quality tank and cartos that will not flood and work well on the Lavatube?

Before I read the full post I was going to suggest the smoktech tanks--scratch that. Sorry, these didn't work for you. I've been using one for a month now and haven't had any carto leaking issues... I'm using 80pg/20vg and a 50/50 juice and have been really impressed with the vapor and th. Here's a link for everything lavatube which includes a thread on tanks:Lavatube. Loving the square tipped ez tank, currently available at atomicvapors.com . Less than $20 with discount code, and if you have a long drip tip, boge cartos work with the included long tank as well as the short one. The long tank/long tip combo with the boge is also really easy to fill and vapes better than my map, cartomator or chibi's. Worth the freakin' money.

Of course, it will also work with XL cartos, too.
