Tank/cartomizer replacement?

So, I'm brand new. Need to know about replacing tanks. How frequently is this done? How will I know? I have a starter kit and am not sure what tanks may be compatible to my battery. I purchased from virgin vapors and they seem to be out of stock. Where else can I get a tank?

Hi!

That is a very common tank. It's a Vision CE4 type. Dime a dozen stuff.

You could probably go straight up a level. Something like this. More reliable with replacement heating core (atomizer/coil)

Hi @Ladybug24. Tanks can last a really long time. When you get into the better tanks (glass) all you do is replace the coil and wash the tank occasionally.

I would recommend getting an iStick 30W (EleafUS Products - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes $35) mod (battery) and an Aspire Nautilus Mini(Aspire Products - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes - $25). Vape really starts to shine with flavor when you can dial in the wattage (power). Your current tank with a 510 to eGo adapter ($4) would work on the iStick 30W, as would the recommended tank by the above poster.

The 30W is in pink. It is a 2200 mah battery.

If you do decide to invest in better equipment, make certain you get at least a 30W battery, as it allows room to grow without having to buy another battery for the next level of vape (sub ohms).

iStick 50W on left , iStick 30W on right. I'd recommend a trip to a local vape store to actually hold one, prices will be less expensive online.

I replace the atomizer coils about once a month, but I rotate 3 or 4 tanks at a time.
Replacing the coil is cheaper than using disposable (and plastic) tanks.

Maybe because the word Cartomiser was used, lol. Seems suppliers are calling the non-tank clearos that now.

Thanks so much for all the pics and info! I keep hearing about the nautilus, so maybe that's the way to go next. I will check out the links you posted. Now I understand it's better to get a glass tank and replace coils. Sorry if I sound clueless, but I guess we all start somewhere! Lol
